    Dr. Ross Hastings (full name: W. Ross Hastings) is a Zimbabwean-Scottish systematic theologian based in Canada. He holds two PhDs—one in organometallic chemistry from Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario) and one in theology from the University of St Andrews (Scotland).He serves as the Sangwoo Youtong Chee Professor of Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, where he teaches in areas including systematic theology, theology and science, pastoral theology, ethics, and the theology of mission. Before academia, he pastored churches in Ontario and British Columbia. Dr. Hastings is the author of several books, including Total Atonement: Trinitarian Participation in Christ, Reconsidering Participation in Christ, and works exploring the intersection of faith, science, and spiritual formation.
