    Are Angine De Poitrine Summoning The Devil?

    Zoë did a “Guess Where” trip - and they sound SO FUN! You buy a getaway for you (or for someone else) and you set out for the adventure without being 100% certain about WHERE your destination is!
Sounds like a very fun gift! Bluesfest is wrapping up, John is laughing at those who think Angine de Poitrine are recruiting people to worship the devil.  FYI… That’s actually a thing in the comments on social media.  They’re quirky, and interesting, and certainly creating a lot of conversation!  We’re thrilled that The Guess Who are still rockin’ and closing things out.  40,000 people were there to see Ella Langly, who, is clearly someone one of us (hi John) hasn’t been paying close enough attention to. Brooke Henderson’s LPGA performance last weekend was incredible - you better believe we acknowledge that this week. John was all excited to see our beloved Ottawa comedian Lauren Lane getting her own Netflix special… Only to find out that… No. For the record she 100% should have her own Netflix special!  Get out and see LOCAL comedy shows.  They’re THAT good! Plus… We always want to keep mental health at the forefront of our conversations, and this week we discuss the impact of an audience telling you about the moments they connect with you.  Human connections are SO important. The Canada Day fireworks were finally set off, with no notice, The Charge are moving to CTC and the "it's just too far" crowd are killing the buzz, long lines to get to and from Bluesfest on the LRT again - and on top of it all, John can't find a basic bottle opener. Also - the floods in Ottawa following another massive storm - We talk insurance and the city's role, and how people DO come together in events like this. We extend or most sincere condolences to his loving family and friends and are so sorry for your loss. This conversation is about loss, about mental health, about love, about trying to do what's best for the people who matter most to you. We hope it offers you hope and comfort as well.     Going The Extra Kilometer For You... Wait, what?

    A ridiculously fun conversation this week - Milky bought a new car, and that meant having to deal with rush hour traffic for the first time in years, and the nightmare of being on hold.  97 minutes is a LONG TIME! Zoë has HUGE news about a new job with a local sports team! The Ottawa Charge are (as we record this) 1 win away for advancing in the PWHL playoffs, we’re excited to see the Titans sell out - and again on Mother’s Day!  Zoë was at the home opener and didn’t have too bad of an experience taking the LRT!  It wasn’t completely without issues though.  Of course. We have some fun with the word “kilometres.”  How do you pronounce it? It’s spring, so that means tulips and dog poop bags in the trees at the dog park.     Should a company be required to reveal to you that you are talking to / chatting with an Ai before you disclose information? We discuss this today, after John's wild experience following an inquiry he sent to a car dealer about a vehicle. The Ai even knew he was on the radio and used it to butter him up. We asked you, and your feelings on it do not align with the dealership's belief that customers love it.
