Motherhood and Everything That Comes With It

Episode Summary: Today's episode of A Cup of Confidence is a very special one. We are going to tackle MOTHERHOOD and everything that comes along with it. Believe it or not, I did not always want to be a mom. I was more than happy being the cool aunt and STAYING the cool aunt. However, time went on, I married my husband, and we had my son! I am so thankful to be a mother now. He has taught me so much about letting go and going with the flow, and I continue to grow in so many ways because of him. Mother’s Day is a tough one, though. It can be such a beautiful day and a very challenging one for so many. With that being said, it is extremely important to remember, reflect, and recognize all of the mother figures out there and that it’s okay for it to look different for others. This episode is so special and dear to my heart; you’re not going to want to miss this - stay tuned! Thanks for Listening: Thanks so much for listening to my podcast! Being Open To New Possibilities

Episode Summary: Today's episode of A Cup of Confidence will be a solo one, but a special one.  We are going to be diving into a topic that we don’t talk about enough, being open-minded to new possibilities as a business owner. Realizing when it’s time to pivot as a business owner can be challenging, but just know that if you decide to change course, it’s OKAY. What I’ve learned along this journey as a business owner is that the end game might not be what you expected, and that’s okay. It’s okay if you dive into having your own business and realize that it’s not for you. It’s okay to take a step back. It’s okay to close up shop if it’s not serving you anymore. Today’s episode is about tackling those taboo subjects of saying no, living for yourself, and knowing when to close a door. This episode is so special and dear to my heart; you’re not going to want to miss this - stay tuned! Thanks for Listening: Thanks so much for listening to my podcast! They help our podcast rank higher on Apple Podcasts, which exposes our show to more awesome listeners like you. Guest Bio: Becky Russell is the Essential Educator and founder of “Hope Essentials.” She embraces that she is a late bloomer and found her true purpose in her fifties. When she found doTERRA CPTG Essential Oils, they not only changed her life for the better health-wise but also provided her with a platform for promoting a holistic lifestyle. When Becky experienced severe medical problems in her late 40s, she was let down time and time again by doctors of American medicine to diagnose several issues. In Becky’s research, she uncovered details that made her question the completeness of the diagnosis. But it took four long years to get the correct answer—at her initiative. Fortunately, during this challenging time, she had an empowering, positive experience with a Dr. of Oriental Medicine. Throughout all the negative experiences listed above, she countered with a positive attitude and used acupuncture, supplements, and other treatments, which led her to better health. Becky’s quest for better health has led her to discover many different options, from essential oils to myofascial release massages to less well-known treatments. Now, her purpose and passion are to let as many people as possible know the power of essential oils, the benefits of a holistic approach to wellness—treating the entire body, mind, body, and soul--from the inside out instead of just treating symptoms.
