    Today we are in conversation with Prageeyaa Khanna, a Mumbai- based lawyer as well as the co-founder of a beautiful venture called Rohaa, an NGO which is working towards gender equity and sustainable development. She completed law in 2015 and started working as Gender Advocate and Director in SheSays India, engaged in educating, rehabilitating and empowering women to speak up and take direct action against sexual abuse.  She has conducted various workshops across India with underprivileged children and slum dwellers in schools and workplace to sensitise people about sexual abuse and violence. She is also a bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer. But it was while they were planning their own wedding that they realised some of the hurdles that could serve as a deterrent for other couples who wanted to go green on their big day.     Ep 01 | Grace Glides on Blistered Feet ft. Shreewarna Rawat

    It is said that anyone can dance, but it is the one who has blistered feet from years of practice and determination; the one who instead of giving up, shows up, performance after performance, full of grace is a true dancer. On the first episode of Voice of Aurum, presented by Girl Up Aurum, we have with us Ms.Shreewarna Rawat, a Professional Kathak Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher, Performer. She started to learn Kathak at just the age of four and now has performed in numerous shows nationally and internationally. She has represented India in Brazil Festival held at Brasilia, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro organised by Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of India. She has been honoured by the DM of Uttarkashi in 'Ganga Utsav' and has been awarded by the MPs of Uttarakhand (Lok Kala Samman) at Pyare Lal Bhawan in June 2019. She has performed in various cities in India as well as abroad with 'Desh- Parv'- Performing Arts Festival on the occasion of Commonwealth games 2010, Youth Festival, National School of Drama , Airport Authority of India, Delhi being some of her notable performances. She is also associated with a spectacular show 'Mughleazam' directed by Feroz Abbas Khan as a Kathak Artist, has performed in various cities like Dubai, Kuala Lampur(Malaysia), Muscat for the same. She has performed alongside Mrs. Nita Ambani & Mouni Roy at the Akash & Shloka Ambani's wedding under Vaibhavi Merchant's choreography-2019.
