    Applying the Word WITH Jesus

    What if reading the Bible could become more than reading words on a page? What if you could experience Jesus speaking personally to you through His Word? In this “How-To” episode, we will look at practical ways you can include Jesus while reading, meditating on, and understanding the Bible, so He can make the Word relevant to your everyday life. Jesus can make your time in the Word fun, engaging, and transformational when you learn the important difference between reading the Word with Him rather than simply reading it for Him or for any other reason. Dr. Patty shares the Biblical foundation for allowing the Holy Spirit to interpret Scripture for you, rather than trying to understand it solely with your limited human mind. She addresses what Truth really is, and Jesus clarifies the difference between knowing about Him and knowing Him intimately. Dr. Patty goes back to the basics with the dialogue journaling steps found in Habakkuk 2:1-2. She shares examples of how Jesus speaks in ways that fit your language and cultural framework while always remaining consistent with Biblical Truth. And to make reading the Word fun, Jesus invites you to step into the Bible story of the Parable of the Four Soils.     Your Spiritual Inheritance Now and in Heaven

    How you can live today in light of what God has prepared for you eternally?  What is your spiritual inheritance, and what does it mean for you both now and in eternity? In this “Identity” episode, we will explore the believer’s inheritance here on earth and in heaven. Who is entitled to this inheritance? What exactly is yours? What are its characteristics, and how is it measured? Dr. Patty will explain the difference between justification and sanctification and how they relate to your eternal rewards. She will also clarify the crowns mentioned in Scripture and how they become eternal rewards. Jesus will share insight into the final chapters of Revelation, giving us a glimpse of the new heaven and new earth and the heavenly city, New Jerusalem.     God Speaks Through Your Dreams

    Leading Godly Families with Susan Ro

    In this special episode, Dr. Patty invites Susan Ro from the Leadership for Busy Working Moms podcast to discuss how to develop godly practices that help ensure our children are raised to know and reflect the love of God.     Why we Need the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord
