Impact of Influence: The Murdaugh Family Murders and Other Cases

I have been listening to you since the Murdaugh trial. You both were so refreshing after listening to the Mandy pod. Thank you for your respectful approach to difficult and challenging situations that arise from the subject matter that your podcast deals with. I am sorry that we can’t say goodbye to Alex M but justice must be served.

I listen to this podcast and I have also been a long time listener to Mandy Matney’s podcast; I like them both and wish you guys could be on the same page. Mandy seems more guilty of this as of late but it seems she is also under an undo amount of stress. I just want to weigh in on my view of what probably bothers her (the way I see it, I don’t know her personally) and that’s NOT talking or being able to talk about things. I feel her pain because I have noticed that in work and life power is held from me behind closed doors, the things I DON’T know always hurt me. The things people KEEP from me are the most harmful. I think this is where her sunlight thing comes in; she wants to draw out all of those “monsters” who play this game in the dark into the light, or draw them out from behind closed doors to expose them for what they really are. Most of the BS in life happens in secret. The system would not be corrupt if everyone had to actually do and say their piece in front of everyone else. It’s closed doors and hidden agendas that cause corruption (Alex Murdaugh being the prime example of this in our time). This seems the be the way she sees it as a journalist (and her job as a journalist is to draw out the truth) and I totally agree though I’m just a graphic designer. But I also think having a voice of reason (not as emphatic) is important too and that’s what I appreciate about your podcast with you guys and the “Professor.”

Poorly researched, used to air personal grievances and grudges against other journalists, very unoriginal. Yuck
