She coaches teenagers and young women to overcome #Bingeeating and #Bulimia.   For those of you who are not aware of this, Binge eating is a condition where sometimes you have uncontrolled eating sessions, and you could be eating in secret, or eating at night when no one is around. Bulimia is a condition that goes one step further, where you develop such a strong fear of gaining weight, that you make yourself vomit or use laxatives so that the food is out of your body.   Binge eating and Bulimia are big growing problems in India with 10 lakh+ cases every year and absolute #ZERO awareness, and the age group that is affected the most by it is early teens to mid-twenties. And because no one understands this, these girls struggle all on their own with this, and even if they try talking, people don't see it as a problem and they just ask them to have some control.   Please share your view in the comment section. Prior to that, he had also hosted a cricket show called DD Wisden 20:20 during live match broadcasts.  He has done commentary for leading sports networks SONY, STAR Sports, ESPN STAR, TEN Sports, Discovery Sport (EUROSPORT), and DD for over 20 years, and has been a part of the commentary panel for BCCI‘s coverage of Ranji Trophy, Women’s Cricket & other Domestic Cricket Tournaments.   Raman has the distinction of being the face and voice of the broadcast for FIVE Asian Games, FIVE Commonwealth Games, and FIVE Olympic Games coverages in India since 2000 till date for networks like SONY, STAR & Doordarshan.  He also does Hindi commentary for STAR Sports for the Indian Super League (ISL) and actively covers Football. He is a member of several Government Committees including the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), State Boards of Wildlife of Maharashtra, and Jammu & Kashmir; the Executive Committee of the Gujarat State Lion Conservation Society and the Executive Committee of the 'Village Social Transformation Programme' of Maharashtra. He has been awarded the prestigious Carl Zeiss Conservation Award in 2008 and the UAA-Institute of Chemical Technology Distinguished Alumnus Award 2017. He is a large carnivore biologist with immense knowledge of predator-prey relationships and has contributed to several carnivore conservation projects across India. He has also co-authored two books on Indian wildlife. A wildlife photographer of repute, he has photographed some of the most remote wildlife reserves of India. His collection of over 3,75,000 images serves as a veritable archival record of the wildlife and wildernesses of India. He is part of the Organising Committee of the 'India Climate Collaborative' (ICC) and the Governing Council of the 'Bombay Natural History Society' (BNHS). A natural communicator, he is one of India's leading motivational speakers and has introduced thousands of young people to the joys of nature and the rationale for nature conservation.
