🎙️ Season 2: Becoming | Episode 3 – Wounded vs Whole We’ve all been hurt. Rejection, betrayal, disappointment, and broken relationships can leave wounds that affect how we see ourselves, how we trust others, and how we move forward. But what if the wounds of your past don’t have to define your future? In this episode of What’s the Diff?, we explore the difference between allowing our wounds to shape our identity and allowing God to lead us into healing. Because healing doesn’t mean pretending the past never happened. It means allowing God to redeem it. Through Scripture, personal reflection, and a relatable everyday scenario, we look at how old wounds can influence our choices, the lies we may begin to believe because of them, and the freedom that comes when we start embracing God’s truth instead. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. ❤️🩹 Take a moment to reflect:
🌿 What wound have I allowed to define me?
🌿 What lie did I begin believing because of it?
🌿 What truth does God speak over me instead?
🌿 Am I allowing my past to write my future, or am I giving God room to write a new story? Remember, healing doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes it happens slowly, through prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, and the courage to face the places we’ve been hiding. Your wound may be part of your story, but it does not have to become your identity. Same wound. Different response. Different future. Welcome to Season 2: Becoming — a journey of discovering who God created us to be, one step at a time. 🎧 If this episode speaks to you, follow What’s the Diff? on Spotify so you don’t miss future episodes. 💬 We’d love to hear from you!
