The premise of The Devil Made Me Review It, really peaked my interest, two friends reviewing spooky movies and providing an in-depth analysis of the stories they are based off of. What’s not to love about that. The first episode covered The Conjuring, a film based off of one of the case files of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who came to the assistance of the Perron family who allegedly were straight up living in an old secluded haunted farmhouse. I’ve watched this movie many times since it came out in 2013, and thought I knew everything about it and its backstory but thanks to Jack and Jen, I now know so much more. I really enjoyed listening, the hosts Jack and Jen play really well off each other as they share their viewpoints, knowledge and personal anecdotes on the podcast. Not to mention, they are both deeply funny, which really helps lighten up the whole horror and scariness of the films they are reviewing and the stories behind them. Looking forward to hearing more from them.
