    Mark these words: Maverick Protocol has the potential to dramatically change the fundamentals of DeFi. I can usually whip through 3-4 use cases for a protocol within minutes of understanding it, but Maverick gives me a headache, because the possibilities seem endless and more powerful than what we’ve seen before. And, that’s a good thing! In this interview with Bob Baxley, one of the founders of Maverick, we walk through not only how they ended up creating Mav after a couple of pivots, but also the secret to their rapid growth into a top 5 dex in volume. Then we walked through several use cases that could dramatically change multiple segments of DeFi, which in turn led to several more ideas of use cases across the ecosystem. All of this is managed through a brilliant interface model that will blow you away! Being an LP sucks. While Uni V3 helped a bit, they are still only offering you rectangular models, while all the data suggests you need to be able to manage exponentially. LPs get stuck over and over again in impermanent loss and there’s no way to avoid it. Mav can solve this. The number one complaint I hear from founders, is that rather than build, they spend all their time thinking about liquidity and tokenomics. Mav can solve this. Protocols in order to maintain liquidity have to constantly worry about maintaining price levels. Mav can solve this. Algo stablecoins like Liquity have basically had to hope and pray that the models they use will hold the peg, but what if you could draw a model that fit your peg profile perfectly. Mav can do this through boosted models that could beat anything available in the market. The list goes on and on and on. Once you start playing with the platform, you are going to think of another dozen ways that can improve the way you run your protocol, manage your positions, and much much more.
