    This is definitely one of the coolest interviews I've done....  Arlene Gibbs is a screenwriter, producer, and interior designer among many other things (including self-proclaimed band geek) and took the time to chat with silly old me all the way from Italy one morning. I have been sitting on this episode for months and am really excited to share it. We talked about everything from how to make it in the film industry to the (surprisingly) shallow dating pool in Italy.     All About Love (and Work)

    Love can and should exist in the workplace! (and i'm not just talking about romantic love...) This episode is an update to my previous episode "i simply shall not work," where I revisit some of my past points and offer insight into my new perspective largely inspired by bell hooks' (phenomenal) book "All About Love." Is this a lot of word vomit? yes. Are there a plethora of gems in there? absolutely. This book truly transformed the way I see and value love in my life. I would highly recommend the book (and this episode)!

    Forgiveness is overrated...

    When should you forgive someone for doing you dirty? Should you forgive them at all? Forgiveness is sticky business. You don't want to forgive someone prematurely when you haven't arrived at that place emotionally, but you may also not want to carry that negativity with you for too long. Don't worry, I am equally as conflicted! In this episode, I critique popular understanding and practice of the concept of forgiveness and offer my own advice on how to best approach your healing journey. I was truly thinking out loud when recording this episode. Admittedly, I don't have it all figured out yet, and that's okay! This is a chance for us to learn together. Enjoy!
