The Haunted Music Box

As someone who isn’t a huge horror fan, I wasn’t sure if I’d be that into this podcast. But, the lens of trauma (and humor) that the hosts bring to it makes what I used to see as plain gore much more interesting. Love that they always (so far) bring in a queer element to their analysis. Also, “I Eat Boys,” from the Jennifer’s Body ep, is SUCH A BOP. Really looking forward to more songs from them as the episodes come out.

I’ve been loving this podcast—the hosts are funny and endearing, and their break downs of the movies are super thoughtful. I always end up learning about the movies and feeling much more appreciation for things I never would have noticed or given much thought to. Not to mention it’s so impressive Michelle also writes a song for each episode. Great listen!
