    Problem Paradigms #7

"Problem Paradigms" In this podcast Jerry gives listeners insights into paradigms and how they affect our thinking and wound our hearts. Paradigms are the mind-sets that mold our thinking about a person or thing. For example, before McDonald's introduced America to fast food. The typical hamburger joint required that we enter the resturant, order, and wait. McD's became so popular and profitable because it made "fast food" the new paradigm--the new way of thinking about food. And sadly, the old "Mom & Pop's burger place got lost in McD's dust. We wounded hearts have deeply entrenched paradigms about ourselves. This podcast will give you insight into your paradigms."Problem Paradigms" in this podcast Jerry gives listeners insights into paradigms and how they affect our thinking and wound our hearts. Pain Points the Way #6

This podcast describes how the pain in our lives can actually lead us to our healing. We wounded heart spend our lives avoiding  and dismissing the pain we face everyday. But pain is there to teach us and alert us to problems. it's like a tooth ache that tells  us we have an infected or abscessed tooth. Left untreated that infection can lead to sepsis (blood poisoning) and even death. But  our pain is not in a tooth--it's in our heart. Yet Jerry ensures that hope is never far. The Soul--Our Will #5

The Soul--Our Will In this podcast Jerry notes the difference between the heart and our soul. The soul is that all important part of us that chooses--our will. The soul directs our lives. But in the lives of the wounded in heart and soul we are rarely free to chose our own way in life. Still, Jerry always offers hope for our healing and personal freedom. 714-308-2494 (text or call) You can attach an audio file with questions or comments & I'll play them in the next podcast.

    Wellspring of Life #4

Wellspring of Life In this podcast Jerry highlights the heart as the wellspring of life. It is that spiritual and emotional place that is often invaded and wounded in the lives of those of us who repeat mistakes. The chapter includes a true and touching story about Maria, a middle-aged woman, who mourns the loss of years she can never recover. But the chapter offers hope in the midst of losses.

    Fellow Travelers #2

This podcast, Wounded Hearts Walk in Circles, is not about professional advice—it is about personal experience. It is a recollection and record of the road that I and many others have traveled. It is full of stories—mine and those of the fellow travelers who walked the road with me.... ...inner weaknesses need to get exteriorized. Those inner issues need to come out so they can be faced, felt, and befriended. For Dorothy, those inner struggles became supports and soul-mates along the way. I didn’t have a Cowardly Lion, Heartless Tin Man, and Brainless Scare Crow for companions. Still, my stuff came out on the journey. I chose to recognize them and make friends. That choice began to change me and lead me home. 714-308-2494 (text or call) You can attach an audio file with questions or comments & I'll play them in the next podcast.
