Dr Latisha Sykora is a proud Mudburra-Jingili woman - born and raised on Larrakia country; and an award-winning dentist. Latisha spoke about dental health week; focusing on First Nation's and young people's dental health. Tracie Watters, CEO, and Robyn Yang, board member for Technology for Ageing and Disability SA Inc, are seeking participants in their social impact research for TADSA's exceptional work. Chelsea Marchetti, from the Flipper Academy, discussed siatica, causes and treatments, and the role of a physiotherapist. Donovan Mota, 2026 logo designer for the Darwin Fringe Festival, chatted about his passion for art; animals; birds and love of nature. Billie Garden, Retirement Living Community Services Manager at Resthaven, talked about the  Sharing Wisdom program; the Intergenerational program; and the enormously positive  impact on all who took part. David Mitchell, health commentator, discussed how much coffee is too much, and what benefits enough coffee has. Belinda Hellyer, from Brewed By Belinda, gave fascinating insights into the history, folk lore and ingredients of Russian Caravan tea. Shone Benjamin, Director for the Aged and Disability Expo, invited all to the FREE community event taking place on Tuesday 4th August at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, between 9am and 3pm, with free give aways, including popcorn and ferry floss. Emilie previewed their trip to contest the World Wheelchair Rugby Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Todd Ashurst, Interim CEO National Australia Day Council, encouraged nominations for Australian of the Year Awards. Hamish Reid, Operations Manager for the Melbourne International Film Festival, had news on audio described films and many other accessible and inclusive features for the 2026 Festival. Bridget Alfred, CEO for the South Australian Living Artists Festival, shared just some of the many events at this year's spectacular held all of August and throughout South Australia. Andriana Petrakis has returned from the European Virtus Summer Games, playing tennis with a very successful Australian team Karen Anderson, Founder of the Escape to Better Foundation, spoke about the great Dunny Door Dash and the powerful work the Foundation is doing in the area of domestic violence - early intervention can help prevent very serious repercussions. Pam Mitchell, Resident Counsellor, spoke about our sensory skills; being more aware; being more grateful. Ifa Shaddiq is the Curator for the 10th Secret Art Exhibition at the Darwin Fringe Festival Shaddiq chatted about Ifa's role; career so far and the last few days to attend at the Untitled Gallery and Studio Caryota Court Coconut Grove. Dr Kari Seeley, CEO for No Strings Attached, was very excited about their season of “Hamlet: The Loneliest” at Slingsby's Hall of Possibility, rear of 96 Glen Osmond Road. Alice Rolls, SA Minister for Domestic, family and sexual abuse, and child protection, talked about the Lived Experience Advisory Group, (LEAG) that is being formed - a response to one of the recommendations from the recent Royal Commission. Josephine Nicholls's son Nic was diagnosed with a brain tumour leading to Brain Wave coming into being. 30 years later Nic's well and Brain Wave is making a real difference to many other families who are going through what Jo; Nic and their family went through.
