I'm a 28 year old, full-time, UK class teacher (or I was... as I write this I have 8 days left!) with 7 years under my belt. I'm now leaving with no job to go to and a baby on they way after panic attacks, a lack of support and full on burn out. This podcast aims to document my journey and connect with others in the same boat as I found it hard to find support, visualise the future and I felt completely trapped by my job. I'm a full-time primary class teacher in the UK who had consistently good lesson feedback in a seven year career and comes across as a really happy chappy. So why am I leaving the classroom in 8 days with panic attacks, no job to go to and A BABY ON THE WAY!!!!??????!?!?!?! This podcast aims to share what has led me to this decision, what I'm planning on doing next and what I actually do. If you're a teacher experiencing burnout, stress or anxiety... so am I.
