    It Looked Human, But It Also Didn’t - Dogman Encounters Episode 675

    Tonight’s guest wishes to remain anonymous, so I call him “Adam” on the show. Adam grew up in Bear County, Texas, with a greenbelt behind his home. Beyond it stretched an extensive tract of woodland, with hiking and riding trails winding through the trees and acre upon acre of forest that few people ventured into. One day, in October of 2020, while riding his bike through those woods, Adam had an experience that shook him to his core. A large creature began stalking him. By the time it made its presence known, he was so far from home that he had to decide whether his best chance of reaching safety was to head back toward his house or try another direction. That encounter left him terrified, but another experience shortly afterward took his fear to a whole new level. This time, it didn’t happen deep in the woods. It happened one night in his own backyard. And this time, he didn’t have to guess what kind of creature he was dealing with. He was staring right at it—and it was staring right back!     Tonight’s guest, Dan Hammond, is a paranormal investigator based in southwestern Ontario, Canada, with more than 10 years of experience investigating paranormal events and cryptid sightings. Although he says he was once punched in the nose by a ghost that followed him home from an investigation at an old farmhouse, cryptids still frighten him more than the prospect of being physically attacked by a ghost.     That’s Where the HUGE Dogmen Live! - Dogman Encounters Episode 671

    Tonight’s guest, Sean Patterson, was featured on Episodes 667 and 668. On Episode 667, he shared several experiences he had in a forest on the outskirts of Irvine, California. He calls the area where he’s repeatedly seen Dogmen “The Sanctuary.” Sean had so many experiences to share that, by the time he finished, I hadn’t had a chance to ask the questions I’d prepared for him. Fortunately, he agreed to return for Episode 668 so I could ask him many of those questions. On that show, I also displayed several pictures he’d shared with me that he said showed some of the Dogmen he’s interacted with at the Sanctuary.     Behind the Lens: Legacy of The Forest - Dogman Encounters Episode 669

    Adam Merriott is a filmmaker who lives in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The reason Adam is here tonight is that he’s working on a project called “Legacy of the Forest,” a cinematic horror story focused on the Dogman phenomenon. Adam’s main goal with the project is to tell the stories behind the Dogman encounters so many eyewitnesses have had over the years, using the language of cinema. Adam isn’t making the film only for people who already believe in the existence of Dogmen. He also wants people who don’t know a thing about Dogmen to be able to watch the film and walk away with something from the experience. To get the project off the ground, though, he’ll need help financing it. That’s why he’s launching a Kickstarter campaign for the project. Adam’s aspirations for “Legacy of the Forest” don’t end with a short film. He wants the short film to merely be the beginning of the project. After the film is released, he hopes to expand “Legacy of the Forest” into a cinematic universe consisting of a trilogy of feature films alongside an eight-episode television series. On tonight’s show, Adam is going to tell us what to expect from the film and announce the launch of the Kickstarter campaign he plans to use to help fund the project.
