#69 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 32

Who would win in a fistfight: a guy in a wheelchair or a child? Is it ever morally justified to lie? Is aluminum foil worth more than gold? All these questions and more will be answered in our nicest Mistborn episode yet. Predictions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=B105 Twitter: @PodYoungAdult Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Mistborn/comments/15megr4/young_and_adult_read_mistborn_the_well_of/

#68 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 31

Young comes out in favour of monarchism, Adult desperately tries to avoid getting into politics while reviewing a chapter that's entirely about politics, and we both accuse ska of being criminals just for trying to make a living. Predictions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C91 Twitter: @PodYoungAdult

#67 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 30

[Content notes: brief discussion of rape and forced pregnancy.] A character runs out of paper to write on (is this the key to everything?), Vin doesn't understand hypotheticals, and we wonder why dry academic discussion might seem low-stakes. Predictions spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C90 Twitter: https://twitter.com/PodYoungAdult

#66 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 29

Young yawns at the dialogue, Adult defends eating rotten meat, and we conflate being a Mistborn to being a dog. Note: the Mistborn subreddit is currently protesting Reddit's policy changes, so this episode won't be posted there for a few days. Predictions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C81 Twitter: https://twitter.com/PodYoungAdult

#65 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 28

Adult delivers a rambling history lecture, Young comes out in favour of military dictatorship, and we both agree that Vin touched Oreseur innapropriately. Predictions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C80 Twitter: @PodYoungAdult

#64 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 27

[Content notes: discussion of rape, sexual abuse, and self-harm.] We make up our own imaginary version of the chapter, applaud lying and manipulation (especially of your romantic partners to hide that you're cheating), and advocate for overthrowing democracy. Predictions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C75 Twitter: @PodYoungAdult

#63 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 26

We clock the series' first transgender character and meet a character's long-lost sibling as we watch a game of 4D chess. Predictions list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JnPCglDZYJEX09QVuTHjgmh_jGU0s_rDQsVanv5eigg/edit#gid=496994333&range=C62 Twitter: https://twitter.com/PodYoungAdult

    #62 - Mistborn: The Well of Ascension - Ch 24 & 25

We discuss apple wholsesale prices, Adult accuses Vin of being too trusting, and Young cheers for the deaths of the innocent.
