    01 Conversation with Helina Bailey

    In this episode, get to know my friend, Helina Bailey. She's a single mother of two wonderful boys. She's a US Army veteran, in pursuit of her goal in becoming a professor while finishing her Master's degree in Writing. She's wrote children's books celebrating children and their ethnicity: "The Black Princess" and "Are You Coming To My Fiesta?".  Listen in and be inspired as she candidly shared her story, including that one time she did Hurdles in school and the life lesson that came along with that experience.  Currently, you'll see her raising goats, gather eggs from her chickens, driving a tractor and simply living her best homesteading life in rural Tennessee with her kids.
