Episode 68 Mid Life Mommy Subconscious Mind Stores Programs 61126, 3 48PM

If you are following me on Facebook, Instagram or Tik Tok, You might Notice that in one year from  now I am going on a 400-500 mile bike trek through the Baltics.  This summer I decided to start my training by doing 500 miles before School starts and I’m back to work.  I’ve posted on social media asking for sponsors to help me in my financial quest for this trek I started on June 1st and started riding 10  miles a day with a 20 mile bike ride on Saturdays. The first 71 miles are down and some wonderful people have taken the time and money to sponsor me on my quest to 500 miles.  To celebrate them I’d like to thank Jenene Maybury, Christy Lee, Jeanine Rhodes, Royann Goodman,  and a secret friend. I am so grateful for these wonderful people in my life. They saw my quest and wanted to cheer me on as I get strengthened to my goal.  A big shout out to them and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.   Before we begin today's lesson, let's do a quick review. Last time, you learned about a very important job of your subconscious mind. Do you remember what it was? That's right! 🧠 Your subconscious helps keep you alive and safe. It keeps your heart beating. It helps you breathe. And it helps protect you through fight, flight, or freeze when it senses danger. Your subconscious is always working behind the scenes. Today, we're going to learn something else your subconscious does. And once you understand it, you'll start noticing it everywhere. 🧠 Your Subconscious Stores ProgramsRemember when we talked about the conscious mind? Your conscious mind can: ✨ Be aware ✨ Add meaning ✨ Accept or reject ideas ✨ Create new ideas Your conscious mind can decide what it wants to think about. But your subconscious works differently. Your subconscious does not argue. It does not judge. It does not stop and ask: "Is this true?" "Is this false?" "Is this helpful?" "Is this harmful?" Instead... Your subconscious accepts whatever is repeated often enough and stores it as a program. 💻 What Is a Program?Think about a computer. A computer follows whatever program is installed inside it. Your subconscious works in a similar way. A program is simply something your mind has learned so well that it can do it automatically. For example: Can you sing the alphabet? Let's try it. 🎵 A, B, C, D, E, F, G... Did you have to stop and think about every letter? Probably not. The answer just showed up. Why? Because the alphabet became a program in your subconscious mind.
