EP 25: Why It’s So Hard to Ask for Help When You’re the Powerful Woman Who’s Used to Leading + Having All the Answers

What happens when being "capable" + "the strong one" that everyone comes to for answers or solutions becomes so central to your identity that asking for help + support (as well as letting go of control) starts to feel more risky + vulnerable than doing everything yourself? In this episode, I’m talking about power, competence, envy, jealousy, receiving (and how hard that can be when you're always the doer or the leader) + the intimacy of letting another person FULLY see you when you don’t have all the answers ~ especially when that person is another powerful, successful woman you admire. We’ll also get into what this same dynamic can look like for powerful women in romantic relationships, too (like finding yourself with passive men who want YOU to make all the decisions, which can have you feeling like a mother raising a manchild instead of a woman in a hot, sexy, reciprocal partnership).  Want my eyes on something you're navigating in your own conscious work + heart-centered leadership (or intimate relationship, like we discussed in this episode, so far as the power dynamics are concerned)? EP 24: Why People Aren't Recognizing the Real Depth of Your Heart-Centered Work, Even Though You're Showing Up

What happens when you're devoted to your spiritual mission + consistently showing up to lead your community through your heart-centered work, but people still don't seem to recognize the real depth of what you bring to the table? In this episode of STRIPPED, I'm exploring the difference between being visible versus actually allowing yourself + your deeper work to be FULLY seen + perceived, especially when you're a conscious, spiritual entrepreneur whose abilities aren't always as straightforward or easy to logically measure + explain. We get into the fear of being misunderstood or judged as your work evolves, how "hiding" doesn't always look like avoidance, why authority doesn't require pretending you have everything figured out, the difference between vulnerability + oversharing and why "deeper" work can sometimes require letting go of mass approval or instant validation. I also talk about something we don't discuss enough in spiritual heart-centered business: sometimes your next evolution doesn't require another fancy strategy; it requires you to develop a higher capacity to lead your mission + do the more meaningful, impactful work you're here to do  - through more focused spiritual practice, greater integrity, higher discernment, more responsibility + deeper devotion behind the scenes when nobody is looking or clapping. In this episode, we explore: Visibility vs. actually feeling recognized for the depth of your work Why rejection can feel especially personal for spiritual heart-centered entrepreneurs The ways we hide while still technically “showing up” consistently for our community Vulnerability, intimacy + maintaining authority as a leader Why your next evolution may not receive immediate validation What devotion to deeper, more meaningful work may actually require of you Relinquishing control over how other people perceive you Want my eyes on something you're navigating in your own conscious work + heart-centered leadership? I've opened a small number of 45-minute private sessions. Bring me the question, decision or situation you've been wrestling with + we'll identify the blind spot or deeper truth you may be struggling to see on your own, so you can get clear on what this next evolution of your work is actually asking of you.
