    Nonchalant November

    It is always darkest before dawn. Take a pause within that moment of chaos and assess the moment.. Find a way to embrace and elevate that moment. Laughter will always be a hell of a cure.

    You ain’t get this far to give up!

    Self doubt, worry, anxiety, Self Sabotaging are all things that just make us feel like absolute crap. Life gets rough but we have to be able to take ourselves out when needed and know when to re- enter with new intentions and aspirations. This episode is dedicated to those needing a pick me up! I GET IT! Go out and explore and regain your drive. It’s just like when we were kids. That time when we really wanted something from the store or wanted something in specific and our parents said if you do this(whatever that may be), you will get that. Same metaphor and approach only you don’t need your parents permission.. DEDICATE your energy to ONLY toward what you truly want… NOT ON WHAT YOU DON’T WANT!

    WE NEED CHANGE IN OUR COMMUNITY IMMEDIATELY

    This episode is: a rant, an awareness, and a call for help all in one.. The things that are happening in our world are terrible but the things that are happening in Philly are where we as community need to start. We need to come together and try to make this home again. Block parties use to be a thing to look forward to, now they are a cause for concern. Playgrounds and corner stores use to be a thing (as a kid back in my day) and there would be no trace of violence; just laughs and memories.. We have to figure something out because our babies will not be able to fully enjoy their childhood. We need to get back to the roots of building strong foundations in the homes and communities.. People in the block use to be trust worthy to keep an eye out for all the kids.. Things are just so different. We need to take accountability. WE NEED PEACE AND HAPPINESS AGAIN!

    STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES! 🌹😌

    This is a positive rant.. We are living in a time where every moment feels judged, every move requires a second thought, and every step forward seems to be hiding a (move back 2 spaces). It doesn’t matter!!! LIVE IN THE MOMENT! LIVE IN HUMILITY! We are humans and far from perfect but one thing we can do is take notice at how far we have come.. Stop being hard on yourself, you are doing a great job!

    Control your child’s environment as much as you can.

    This is a bit of an emotional talk. Reason being is because it deals with my children. Positive influence is something that can be picked up at a very young age. Which is why it is important to control your child’s environments to the best of your ability. They say it takes a village and the village is not just family and friends, it’s outside influence of people as well. So grab your cup of coffee or tea and come listen to me discuss some of the importance of being an involved and in tune parent.👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

    I was never really good at marketing things but this seemed like a creative way to tackle this challenge of mine. Listen as I break down my book “Mommy what does that mean?” and how it is not only for kids but for us adults as well.. so grab your mojito or smoothie or whatever snack or beverage that calms you and find out ways to brighten your day.
