    C.78. Barbie, Ken & the Hem

    Okay Warrior Barbie, this one’s for us. You ever dream of your perfect Ken growing up? the prince, the hero, the best friend. Me too. But real life gets messy. Sometimes our Kens hurt us, sometimes we’re the ones who need healing, and sometimes we’re both flat on our faces like Barbie just trying to crawl our way to Jesus. In this episode, we’re talking about fighting for healing, not letting anything or anyone stand between us and our Creator. Because just like that woman who reached for the hem of His garment, we can too. So grab your armor (and maybe a tissue), and let’s keep fighting toward the One who heals it all.     H.77. Ken's "Beach Off"

    Funny thing, read a quote from Elder Holland post-Barbie movie that hilariously linked to this scene in the film, remember? Those Ken dolls battling on the beach? Blonde Ken gets hit by waves, and Black Haired Ken teases. Like a "beach off" moment, right? Elder Holland's quote back in '09 nailed it about not digging up old stuff to toss at each other. He spoke of a a real-life "beach off," but we're aiming for kindness, not mess! You might wonder why I keep talking about my Betrayal Trauma, here's the scoop. Scriptures talk Christ for our kids' sake, right? He's more than sin-help; He's my healing source. Battling trauma, anxiety, you name it, I have learned that Christ’s got me safely in HIs arms. Through Him, I'm thriving, forgiving, feeling joy. Trauma's part of my journey, strengthening faith, like Peter said – trials more precious than gold! My life's all about growing toward Christ.     H.75. Black Panther’s Piezoelectric Effect

    You all know how much I love Superhero Movies! Piezoelectric Effect is the ability of certain materials to generate an electric charge in response to applied mechanical stress. The word Piezoelectric is derived from the Greek piezein, which means to squeeze or press, and piezo, which is Greek for “push”. Do you ever feel this way?     C.74. We control the Darkness!

    Learned this concept from the podcast Talking Scriptures with Mike and Bryce. I am grateful for their help in adding more light to this so I can see a little more clearly.  Turning on the light isn’t always as simple as flipping a switch, listen to see what we can learn from the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr and how he controlled the darkness. Discover the joy of daily repentance. Learn about God & how He works. Seek & expect miracles. End conflict in your life. Satan’s tactics can be scary but the Lord can help get us through those twists and turns quickly. Sometimes getting your coaster to climb higher for more "momentum" or speed could be studying scriptures differently or praying with real intent or serving without complaining.     R.72. Trying on New Shoes

    Our Battle Cries (AKA Affirmations, Statements of Control, Future Statements and Visualizations) wont all fit the same. I have created a list of 100 for you to choose from, to try on and to see which one fits. Remember, I only know what has worked for me and you can test that and see how it works and then if you like the sound of one and the way the other one makes you feel then you can circle it. Or just open a Notes App on your phone and jot down the ones you hear that you like or want to try to keep track of the ones that resonate with you.  If you’d like my list of 100 Battle Cries for Women just text me 561-316-8883 and I’ll send you a link.  So in a nutshell, Battle Cries or Affirmations are like a new pair of shoes. You have to try several before you find the one that fits. Try them out for a week. Say them to yourself out loud, silently in your mind, see what works best.     C.71. Multiple Streams of Inspiration!

    As a Fidjiti entrepreneur I love the thrill of starting new businesses. It gets me fired up! Because of this ADHD method of entrepreneurship we have been able to create multiple streams of income. From my Etsy shop, my app, to our rental and more, we have been blessed to never experience what we went through when Our oldest was born over 12 yrs ago, which was unemployment and no insurance or ways to pay for our newborn baby who just got out of the hospital just days before.  Just like we have set up multiple ways to earn income to take care of our temporal needs we can create and organize multiple streams of income for our spiritual needs.
