How to Get Paid to Write (when you've never been published)

In this episode of WriterpreneuHER your host Racheal Blackmore talks about the writing industry, how you can be paid when you write, and what matters in writing. Today, Racheal breaks down one of the game-changing strategies that allowed her to become a six-figure writer. Starting to Write [1:15] When Racheal first started writing, she wrote because it was cathartic and felt like she had something to say. But it was inconsistent and almost always ended with her waiting for that moment she finally felt ready, or worthy or competent enough. [2:38] For years, Racheal didn't believe in her ability to successfully publish and get paid to write because it was only on the very rare occasion that she might share her piece with a family member. Lucrative Lifestyle [3:36] It is not some arbitrary revenue number you can reach and feel like you finally arrived. And it does look different for everyone, but it centers on freedom, purpose, and abundance. Racheal's lucrative lifestyle is the ability to be an intentional mama and raise my four kids from home while being a professional writer. Freelance Writer [5:01] Racheal became a freelance writer getting paid less than a penny, a word for white label agencies and anybody she could find. She tried everything like blogging for profit and affiliate marketing but nothing really worked. [7:14] She made a game-changing decision to write for 30 minutes every single day no matter what, for two years - and it worked! Becoming a Serious In-Demand Writer [8:56] Being a writer is a gift, and she wants to encourage you to own it, be skilled at it, and have the courage to share it with the world. Racheal will introduce her Just Write framework to you. [10:46] If you want to use Racheal's just right framework and are ready for honest feedback, she has a solution for you. She invites you to jump into her WriterpreneuHER community and ask if someone's willing to read and give feedback to your pieces. [11:10] The point of this is about stepping out of your comfort zone and actually sharing what you write with people. And second, it's the value of receiving honest feedback. Don’t Quit [13:35] Today is not the day you quit. As a writer, you have a gift to share, which can change the world forever. We need more skilled, well-intentioned writers like you to step up and share truth and joy and love and impact and all good things like never before. Go to https://www.writerpreneuher.com/ to learn how you can up-level your skills and gain the confidence you need to share your gift with the world make a massive impact and change the future for you and your family.
