These guys are locked into comics and have some really interesting thoughts from a different perspective since we come at Marvel content from a more casual angle.     Ladies and gentlemen, it is here! Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's epic story is absolute cinema in the largest scale with the biggest stars. Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and so many others bring these legendary characters to life in the movie event of the year so far. One of the most highly anticipated movies of recent memory completely lives up to the hype and actually surpassed both of our expectations. We get into all the story elements added to the plot, our favourite and least favourite obstacles they have to overcome, all the amazing cinematic moments, unexpected character arcs, and so much more! With the live action remake coming out with The Rock in a wig, we decided to revisit the original in protest! This movie has big bright colours, authentic Polynesian culture, and a great message that make for a great kids movie that adults can find the fun in too. We talk about which of the great songs is the best, how we feel about live action remakes as a whole, the most important coffee guy in Hollywood, and much more! A film that we both initially had little interest in, has gotten a lot of positive word of mouth so we decide to check it out. A surprisingly loaded cast of voice actors including Bryan Cranston, Patrick Stewart, Regina Hall, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus bring so much charm to this story. We talk about the amazing blend of complicated mystery and light fun, our favourite versions of Hugh Jackman performances, the unexpected heavy emotion the film delivers, and so much more.     We journey across the galaxy in search of the antidote to save our dog with this newest release from DC comics. After the success of Superman, we're all very excited to see what James Gunn would add next to the DCU and it is here. Milly Alcock brings an interesting take to the character as a broken person with grief, but does that translate into a good movie? One of us thought there was a lot of holes in the writing and one of us enjoyed it more, taking it as just a fun action film. We discuss if the emotional beats landed for us, our thoughts on Jason Momoa's addition as Lobo & where they might go with the character, where they might take Supergirl from here based on where this story ends, give out our awards, and much more!
