    Journal Week 16: Read Childreen Book and Watch Cartoon Movie

    Childreen Book: Sunny Meadows Woodland School Trip This book tells about Class 1 of Sunny Meadows Woodland School that set off for their first trip to the Shadow Woods. Everyone was excited to be going on the adventure that they had been talking about for weeks. But, Hank was not really looking forward to the day. Hank was a hedgehog who found it difficult to make friends and he always felt like the outsider. The others in the class, especially Matilda Mouse, kept away from Hank because they thought him odd. The journey to the Shadow Woods was longer than expected because Mr. Mole's tunnel train was broken. Soon though, the Shadow Woods were upon them and something that looked small from far away suddenly grew very large before them. Matilda pretended to be brave and ran on ahead compelling her friends to join her. Miss Squirrel was not happy about that so she shouted for Matilda to come back. Then off she chased after her. Soon the whole class followed and before they knew it, they were right in the middle of the woods. Suddenly, there before the class was a very large and very hungry snake. Matilda and her friends all hugged each other fearing that this was the end. But Hank was no scared and he found a way to save his friends. He knew just what he had to do. After the snake had slithered away, the class had quickly returned to school and each one had thanked to Hank. Cartoon Movie: The Boss Baby This movie tells about a new baby's arrival that impacts a family. The movie told from the point of view of a wildly imaginative 7-year-old named Tim. He is horrified when saw a new baby brother arrives at Tim's home in a taxi, clad in suit and tie, and carrying a briefcase, behaves normally around the adults, crying for attention and food and diapers all day and night. The instant sibling rivalry must soon be put aside when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is actually a spy on a secret mission, and only he can help thwart a dastardly plot that involves an epic battle between puppies and babies. The baby explain that most babies go to families, but those who don't respond to tickling are sent to management, where they are given a special baby formula that allows them to think and behave as adults while remaining young forever. Baby also explain he's on a special mission to discover why the world's love of babies is being threatened lately by love of puppies, and came to the Templetons because Tim's Parents work for Puppy Co. Once his mission is done, he will leave. But if the Baby fail, he would have to stay with the Templetons and grow up. Tim didn't like if he should live with the Baby, so Tim and Baby agree to work together to prevent the mission from failing.

    News: India Delhi Pollution Crisis Threatens Lives of Residents, Air Quality Index Remains Severe Link Video : https://youtu.be/8to_aSSPAaI We now shift our focus to the Indian Capital New Delhi where more than 20 million people continue to breathe in toxic air. Pollution levels in new Delhi rose yet again after a minor respite on Monday, at present the air quality in the indian capital is well above 300 the point after which the air becomes hazardous to breathe. For the last few weeks a thick blanket of smog has engulfed the indian capital with residents complaining of allergies watery eyes and even respiratory illnesses. Every year as winter sets in the air quality in the capital declines to very poor and even severe levels, pollutants emanating from crop residue burning transport industries and coal-fired plants outside the city, tend to get trapped as temperatures fall during winter months. Let's now take a look at Delhi's air quality levels for the month of November. From the 4th to the 10th of November the average air quality index stood at 410. In the next one week the average levels were at 397, while from 18th to the 24th of November the number stood at 348. Meanwhile doctors have reported a rise in patients with respiratory concerns and people left with no choice have now raced to buy air purifiers for their homes, and have even invested in indoor plants in a bid to improve the deteriorating indoor air quality. The Delhi government had previously closed down all schools and colleges because of the rising pollution and as of Tuesday the official said that schools can now reopen next Monday. The supreme court has also reimposed the ban on construction activity in Delhi and the national capital region, which is supposed to be in place till further notice. Experts however say that Delhi's air quality is expected to improve after November 27th.

    Speaking english with my best friend Veni. Veni : Hi Sharon, what are you doing right now? Are you busy? Sharon : Hi Venii, no I’m free now. I just finished my assignment. Why? Veni : Ooh okayy. I just want to having small talk with you. We haven't spoken in a long time since we've been too preoccupied with our personal matter. Sharon : You are right! Actually I really missed that moment when we always talk about anything everyday. Veni : Yeahh me too. Let’s we do it again hahaha. By the way, have you seen Lia’s story instagram that posted a cat photo? Sharon : Yes I have seen it. That cat is a gift from her boyfriend. Veni : Wow that so sweet, I want it too hahaha. The cat is so cute, it reminds me of a cat from a Barbie movie. Sharon: Same, but we have to have boyfriend first hahaha. Veni : No, I don’t want to have boyfriend, it’s so troublesome. But literally I really want to adopt a cat, maybe it can help my loneliness. Sharon : Are you serious? I thought you prefer dogs than cats. Veni : Yes that’s right that I prefer dogs, but you know dogs are very expensive and I don’t have that much money. Sharon : Why don’t you adopt from Andy, he has many dog and all of them are so adorable. Maybe he sells his dog with a reasonable price according to your budget. Veni : I’ve asked Andy, and it's still quite expensive for me, even I think with that price I can buy a motorbike. Sharon : Wow hahaha okay then, it’s up to youu.. cat is not bad too Veni : Yes but the problem is my mom didn’t like cat Sharon : Oh dear… then you don’t have to adopt dogs or cats, because you have me hahaha I will always stay with you so you don’t feel lonely. You can talk to me when something happened or text me anytime. Veni : Aww that’s so sweet, Sharon. Thank you so much, you make me want to cry. Sharon : Really? Hahaha. Okayy then, sadly I should end our converstation now. I want to go out with my father to buy something. Veni : Byee, see youu and be careful. Anyway send my regards for your father. Sharon : Thank youu Veni, okayy byeee.

    Journal Week 10 – News: Suicide Bombers Target Uganda Capital

    News: Suicide Bombers Target Uganda Capital Link Video: https://youtu.be/uZnYzqJM5Jw Now there have been two explosions in the center of the Uganda capital Kampala, one blast took place near the parliament with the other going off close to the city's police headquarters. There are reports that at least six people have been killed and several others injured patients are to hurry it's in Kampala. What we do know is that one of the explosions happened right close to the central police station. This is right in the heart of Kampala that a very busy area with lots of traffic both human and vehicular traffic. When it happened it was close to a shopping mall and very close also across the road to the central police station. The second blast happened less than a kilometer away very close to the offices of the city authority but also very close to parliament. Police were still searching the scene with forensic investigators, we can still see them behind us searching the scene and even using some bomb detection dogs to try and look all across the cordon all around the area of parliament this is a very high profile area with lots of high-profile buildings and government offices and ministries. It is shocking especially for this particular area because it's a very highly polished area, so there is a lot of talk on social media in Uganda about what this means and this is just less than a month after two explosions last month in different parts of the country including in one part of Kampala so yes it's very shocking.

    Journal Week 13: Read Children Book and Watch Cartoon Movie

    Childreen Book: The Hike This is a heartwarming family story about a little girl named Mandy and her best friend who is her grandfather. Mandy was lucky as she and her mother lived with her grandparents and she liked nothing better than to spend time with her grandfather. He was always making something and she enjoyed watching, learning, and sometimes even helping him finish whatever he was doing. One day, Mandy and her grandfather are going on a hike in the woods. On a hiking trip with her grandfather, Mandy learns many gentle lessons about love, family, and relationships. Cartoon Movie: Raya and the Last Dragon This movie is based on traditional Southeast Asian cultures and the film depicts a warrior princess who sought for the fabled last dragon, with hopes of restoring the dragon gem that would bring back her father and banish the evil spirits known as the Druun from the land of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it's up to a lone warrior which is Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she will learn that it will take more than a dragon to save the world because it's going to take trust and teamwork as well.

    Speaking English with Willya Diaphenia (6411421191) w: hi shar, long time no see!! s: helloo willyaa, how are you? w: I'm good, how about you? s: great to know that, I'm fine too. By the way, what's going on? is there something that you wanna talk to me? w: nothing too important, but just want to talk normally, do you still watching treasure content? s: ahh okayy i see. yess I'm still watching treasure content, but I've been really busy lately so I only watch it when I have time. How about you? do you still watch treasure content? w: Yes, I'm still watching, but just like you, I watch it when I'm free. Of all the content, which one you like the most? s: wow this is a tough choice because I like all the contents of treasure, but I decided to choose treasure map ep 47 w: what is it about? why do you like this episode so much? s: treasure map ep 47 is about the members playing around with the children and I think it seems so soft and cute, that's why I like that content. How about you? which one the content of treasure that you like the most? w: I like treasure map in episode 58, because in that episode I saw that treasure members created their own song and music video for treasure makers s: wow that's cool, I also like that episode. By the way, do you know that the member of iKON which is Junhoe became an actor and going to play in a movie? w: yes i know that, he just uploaded a photo on instagram when he was on the set, he looks so gorgeous. Oh ya, Chanwoo also just finished filming the drama yesterday, right? s: yes you're right. As a fan of them, I feel so proud that they finally have solo project after a long wait.. w: yeah i'm also proud of them. omg i can't wait to watch their drama s: I can't wait too, hope that their project will going well. Anyway I have to stop our conversation because I want to do my assignment now. w: okay sharon, thanks for today, see you!!! s: okayy willya, thank youu, see you!
