    Israel, the Child, and the Dragon | End Times Events Part 9

    What does Revelation 12 reveal about Israel, Satan’s war against God’s people, and the spiritual battle unfolding behind End Times prophecy?     The Mighty Angel, No More Delay, and the Two Witnesses | End Times Events Part 7

    What does the Bible mean when it declares, “There should be delay no longer”? And who are the two witnesses described in Revelation 11? In Part 7 of Calvary Assembly’s Wednesday night End Times Events series, Pastor Tony Willis continues the study of biblical prophecy, exploring Revelation 10 and 11, the mighty angel with the little book, the unfolding of God’s prophetic timetable, and the supernatural ministry of the two witnesses during the Tribulation. Building on the previous studies of the seven seals, trumpet judgments, and coming wrath, Pastor Willis reminds us that God is sovereign, that His warnings are an expression of His mercy, and that Scripture calls believers to share the gospel with urgency. The return of Jesus Christ is a promise we must take seriously, and the message of salvation needs to reach people while there is still opportunity. In Revelation 10, John sees a mighty angel descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud, crowned with a rainbow, and shining with extraordinary glory. Pastor Willis examines these descriptions and explains why he identifies this figure as Jesus Christ. He also unpacks the little book John is commanded to eat. It tastes sweet in his mouth but becomes bitter in his stomach, illustrating how receiving God’s Word brings both the joy of revelation and the responsibility to speak the truth. The phrase “no more delay” points to the certainty of God’s appointed timetable and the approaching fulfillment of His purposes. God is not caught off guard by world events, and His prophetic plan will unfold according to His authority. The study then moves into Revelation 11 and the two witnesses, who prophesy with supernatural power during the final three and a half years of the Tribulation. He considers their ministry, the measuring of the temple, the Antichrist’s opposition, and the witnesses’ eventual death and resurrection. He also makes the biblical case for identifying these two witnesses as Elijah and Enoch. But this study carries a message that reaches beyond prophecy charts and end-times events. Revelation reminds us that the time to obey God, tell others about Jesus, and live faithfully is now. Pastor Willis shares a powerful reminder through a personal encounter at a truck stop: God can use an ordinary moment to open a door for an eternal conversation. We must be ready to recognize those opportunities and willing to speak when the Holy Spirit leads. The question is not simply what will happen in the last days.
