For fear that his mother would feel disappointed, Sangkuriang decided to kill Si Tumang and bring Si Tumang's heart to his mother. Dayang Sumbi was angry when she found out that the heart she ate belonged to their pet Si Tumang, because of that anger Dayang Sumbi kicked Sangkuriang out of his house. a few years later Dayang Sumbi was reunited with an adult Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang fell in love with Dayang Sumbi and proposed to her, but because Dayang Sumbi knew that it was his son, he refused the proposal. but Sangkuriang remained steadfast in his proposal, thus making Dayang Sumbi think hard, so Dayang Sumbi gave Sangkuriang a condition to build a big ship on a dam in one night. Sangkuriang agreed to this, seeing Sangkuriang's persistence made Dayang Sumbi anxious, so she tried to thwart Sangkuriang's efforts. Dayang Sumbi's efforts were successful and Sangkuriang failed to finish his work on time, because of that Sangkuriang got angry and kicked the boat he made, so that until now it is known as Mount Tangkuban Prau. 2. The origin of Surabaya (Whatch) The story above tells the origin of the name of the city of Surabaya. It is said that once upon a time there was a crocodile that lived in a river, the crocodile was named Baya, and in another place, namely in the sea, lived a large wild shark named Sura. Sura and Baya initially lived peacefully in their respective territories, Baya on the river and Sura on the sea. it all started with Sura who came to the river because he was bored with his food in the sea, namely fish, roamed the river to find new food, and finally found new prey, namely deer around the river. Baya did not realize this, but until one day Baya felt suspicious because the prey for food was decreasing, until she found out that it turned out that a shark had passed through its territory and took its prey, until finally there was an argument between Sura and Baya, both of them strong, no one lost or won, they were both exhausted from the long battle, so Sura decided to make a rule that their boundaries were up to the end of the river or the boundary of the river and sea, Baya agreed, and Sura left the river. months after that it was true, the rules were carried out, but Sura who was at sea was bored with his food again, until he was determined to go to the river to hunt deer and monkeys again, luck was on Sura's side because Baya didn't realize, but increasingly baya became suspicious, because there was a case like the one at the beginning, so he tried to trap Sura with a deer on the bank of the river that he had bitten to lure Sura. and it was true that Sura acted again, after that baya attacked sura, and there was a second battle between Sura and Baya. they fought with all their might, until in the end Baya bit Sura's tail and vice versa, but it turned out that Baya's strength was greater, causing Sura's tail to be severed and resulting in Sura's defeat. Sura admitted defeat and left the river with a pain in his tail. therefore now the place is named Surabaya.
