Journal week 13

One day, Mouse Deer went down to the river to take a drink. But he knew that the crocodile might be waiting underwater to eat him, so he said out loud. “I wonder if the water’s warm. I’ll put in my leg and find out.” Of course Mouse Deer didn’t put in his leg. He picked up a stick instead and put one end into the water. Chomp…! Crocodile grabbed the stick and pulled it underwater. Mouse Deer laughed. “Ha… ha…ha… Stupid crocodile! Cant you tell the difference between a stick and a leg?” Then Mouse Deer ran off to drink somewhere else.In the next day, Mouse Deer wanted to cross the river. He wanted to eat the fruits on the other side of the river. He saw a floating log in the river. He knew that Crocodile looked like a log when he floated. Mouse Deer didn’t want to be eaten by Crocodile when he crosses the river. He had an idea. He called out loud, “Crocodile!” Crocodile rose from the water, “Hello, Mouse Deer. Have you come to be my lunch?” Mouse Deer smiled. “Sorry, not today, Crocodile. I have orders from the King. He wants to invite all the crocodiles in this river to a party. He wants me to count all the crocodiles so he could prepare enough meal for you.”“Really…? Tell us what to do,” said Crocodile. “You must line up from this side of the river to the other side,” said Mouse Deer. Crocodile then got all his friends and family. They lined up across the river. Mouse Deer then jumped onto Crocodile’s back. “One,” he counted. He jumped onto the next crocodile, “Two.” And the next crocodile, “Three.” Mouse Deer kept jumping until he arrived on the other side of the river. “How many are there?” asked Crocodile. “Just enough,” said Mouse Deer. He laughed as he ran to the forest.

The experience of using the word "anxious" is quite unique because I rarely use this word, but after trying to use this word in several conversations with my friends. I find this word quite useful especially when discussing the topic of film, where there are so many actors who act.

Journal week 11

this is adele's song "when we were young". SONG MEANING: is about meeting up with friends from the past and discussing how things have been. Adele meets one friend in particular and makes amends with him. But the song is really about making amends with the past, represented by that friend. "When We Were Young" also follows the same thinking: Adele revealed to SiriusXM on Monday that the song was about going to a party when you are older and running into "everyone that you've ever fallen out with, everyone that you've ever loved, everyone that you've never loved, and stuff like that." The BBC has uncovered new evidence about the teenage killer of Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman, the two sisters murdered last summer in a Wembley park in London. Danyal Hussein was a member of a web forum, run by an American self-styled black magician, whose instructions about demonic pacts mirror steps taken by the killer. The American has encouraged murder in some of his writings, including for a violent Satanic group that’s been cited as an influence on seven young men convicted of neo-Nazi terror offences in the UK over the past two years. The BBC’s Daniel De Simone has been investigating the background.

E: hello suan, how’s your day?? S: just like before, nothing special… how about you?? E : just so so, I wanna take you to somewhere and I think you’ll like it.. S : oh yeah??? Where are we going??? E : beach maybe? S: seriously????? By the way why it’s so suddenly? E: cause I know you just have a bad day S: how do you know? Omgg stalker E: hahahaha I’m not your stalker, I’m just guessing from your voice, its not like Suan that I know… usually u are very cheerful but today your voice explained everything S: such a good friend E: of course HAHAHAHA, because this trip can happened just because of you, I will give you a chance to choose the destination S: hmmmm i don’t know a lot about beautiful beach, the only one beach that I really want to visit is Papuma beach E: what kind of beach is it?? I’ve just heard it from you S: papuma beach in Jember, East Java. They have a gorgeous scenery and I think you will like it E: really?? when do we go?? I’m too excited and I kinda feel so stressed in this house, just do our assignment, eat, sleep, the cycle makes me feel so tired, I need vacation right noww aaaa S : me too, actually my bad day is all because my feelings. I’m not feel good anymore, my brain is so tired… I think I have zoom fatigued need a vacation E: so lets pick the day S: how about next week, we have three days for holiday… but for two weeks later we have five days for holiday… what would you choose for our holiday? E : I would choose next week, I cant wait till the day come S: why don’t you choose the other weeks? 5 days for our holiday E: hmmm I don’t think it’s a good idea, too long for 5 days in one destinations… S: Han… we’re not in one place in 5 days, we will visit other destinations. E: WOWWW our vacation will be very very exciting S: yes of course…

Journal week 8 ( Story from children book and Cartoon Movie )

Hi welocome back with me suan in english with suan, today i want to tell you guys about the story and a cartoon of “red riding hood”. I read and watched the same story and cartoon, namely the red riding hood, this story tells about the journey of the red riding hood to go to his grandmother's house who is sick, through the forest.All of this started when Red Riding Hood's mother ordered her to give the cake and milk they had to her sick grandmother. Red riding hood has been warned not to talk to strangers and always walk along the trail.when on the way red riding hood met a wolf, at first the wolf asked who she was and where she wanted to go, the red riding hood responded to the wolf and told him who she was and where she was going, then the wolf asked what she was carrying and what is it for, once again red riding hood is still responding and answering the wolf's question.The hungry wolf finally had a plan to eat granny and red riding hood, the wolf told that there were many beautiful flowers in the forest, the red riding hood believed and went to get the flowers for his grandmother, when the red riding hood went to the forest, the wolf had rushed to her grandmother's house and deceive her grandmother with the information given by the red riding hood earlier, the grandmother was finally deceive and eaten by the wolf, then the wolf disguised itself as grandmother and finally managed to deceive the red riding hood and eat it, when the wolf was full he slept and snored very loudly, when there was a hunter passing by grandma's house, he was confused as to why an old granny could snore that loudly, she was curious and checked to see if she needed help, she was shocked to find a fat wolf sleeping on the old granny's bed, he finally decided to cut the wolf's belly and save granny and red riding hood. I learn new vocab form this story, that is the word deceive. The example sentence is “You intentionally tried to deceive me”. “If you're no longer engaged, why do you have to deceive him?” My experience using this word is quite interesting because this word is very unique and I use it quite often when talking to my friends
