Whenever I tell my friends I like horror, I always get the same question - Isn’t horror gory and gross? And I always struggle to articulate my answer, that horror is not limited to gore, but shines in a beautiful spectrum that includes the cute and cozy. The Ghouls Night In podcast is the very best representation of what horror can be - not something that excludes with gore and guts, but something that includes with warmth and vibrancy. I never feel like I’m listening to a rehearsed podcast, but instead listening in on two spooky friends speaking from their authentic selves. I also love that the topics the girls choose are because they find them truly interesting, and not because it will please the algorithm. How rare is that nowadays? I can’t recommend this podcast enough!
