    Ron DeSantis Reverse Freedom Ride Stunt

    Republicans from Southern cities, such as New Orleans and Little Rock dreamed up a public relationship and called it reverse freedom riders in the early 60s. Approximately 100 blacks were sent to northern states with promises of jobs and housing waiting for them. The idea was to embarrass and expose the hypocrisy of northern liberals who cheered the real freedom Ryan rides.

    President Abraham Lincoln signed an act into law in 1862 granting payment to each slave freed in the District of Columbia because it was embarrassing for dignitaries visiting D.C to see slaves being sold on the National Mall.
