Hella Nostalgic is a podcast where we reminisce while recapping episodes of our favorite nostalgic television shows. Monica and Sue are two Filipino-American millennials from the Bay Area who love a tell-all storytime. One is a diehard Nickelodeon-kid-turned-sad-adult and the other is a self-proclaimed PBS kid who will be watching many childhood staples for the first time throughout this podcast.     Monica and Sue are finally back from their hiatus and recapping the first Manny-centered episode, Wannabe. A wild Emma appears from behind the glass of the door and she is salty and JUDGING ALL YOU BIMBOS.  In this episode, we share our experiences with gender roles in our Filipino families and discuss Emma's feminism.     Monica and Sue recap the episode Coming of Age from Degrassi: The Next Generation. We talk about the results of taking a love language test (koala tea time???), being too nice to creepy old men, Jimmy's sad birthday party of 1, and ponder if our childhood experiences shaped our entire personality and behavior.  For this week's story time, we are sharing our embarrassing period HORROR stories. Every episode we will also be sharing our Degrassi call-outs and shout-outs plus episode intensity ratings! Sue shares stories about her most Paige-y friend and Monica chimes in on a possible backstory for Paige.
