    Weathering the Storms

    Just a warning-there are some swear words in here... Since I published last October, my storms have encircled me and strengthened in their desire to beat up on me. I have prevailed. I have made it to land, just barely. Saturday, Oct. 8, was my unicorn and rainbow day when I felt happiness for the FIRST time in more than 30 years. Recognizable happiness, regardless of how the people around me are feeling.  I am on my way to being the woman I want to be. I hope this helps you on your journey, through your storms.

    Life's passages

    Life's passages can be a variety of times and places period from graduating from high school from college getting married having children how about putting your mother in a nursing home and then changing a relationship with a sibling. That's what this episode is all about. These relationships can be a challenge; maybe some are great from the beginning. My sister and I have been trying for 14 years to really develop a close bond and she has been at the forefront of doing this and with life's passages, I think we're on our way, in fact, I know we are. So this episode is dedicated To my sister Catherine. Thanks for sticking with me and not giving up on me.

    Missing the signs

    How do we know when it's time to reach out And ask for help? It's hard asking for help isn't it because we don't know if that help will be there when we really need it.. In 2007 I had hit bottom and finally I asked for help because what I was experiencing was not normal for me oh for me and I did not know where to go.. But in this Podcast I'm introducing you're seeing you to some folks that helped me out and brought me back from the brink of no Return. I hope you will listen with an open mind and with an open heart because around you everyday are people who are at that brink and sometimes all we need is someone to take our hand and say I've got you and you're not alone.. Thank you for listening.
