    Episode 103: Interview w/ Toronto Mike

    From the approved desk files of Lorne Honickman and from the top shelf blue plate specials at Palma Pasta, I was very happy to welcome Toronto Mike to the Graventown. I'm happy to be in the FOTM (Friends Of Toronto Mike'd) Universe. He's actually an incredibly and prolifically busy human being with very little windows outside of his own work, as he not only runs and produces his own popular podcast called Toronto Mike'd (that has already surpassed WTF w Marc Maron into the 1800 episode space), but produces many others - so he was a hard man to pin down. Nevertheless, we made it work and had a wondrous and whimsical chat about a swath of topics (as we always do) and I even got Mike to open up about his beginnings into the art of the interview. We yakked about Marc Maron, Joel Plaskett, Alan Doyle, Strombo, TSN's Dave Hodge, and so much more. Enjoy.     Friends. Howdy. I sure haven't been around these parts but I've appreciated the clicks and upticks. Thank you! I'm entering hibernation station for this part of the season so please excuse my slow podcast delivery system, but I wanted to fire one off into the universe, regardless.     G-towners and nonfrowners; hello. Well I did tell you that I did indeed have something epic planned for the century mark episode - and I feel pretty confident to say that I delivered on that promise of Epic-iosity. My guest for episode 100 is none other Canadian and American media personality, ex CBC and Muchmusic television host, podcaster, Apple Music showrunner and all around renaissance man George Stroumboulopoulos. George and I started chatting way back during the early days of the pandemic lockdowns, when he would have me pop on his livestreams (as just some random music guy from Ottawa) and when I was doing the graventown livestream basement shows, he would kindly boost my signal and say nice things in the chat. So as you can imagine, I was thrilled to the gills to have such a busy, massively well known and loved high-octane mind in the graventown studio with me.
