    30. A Portland Mystery Part II

    Okay sorry this is a week late, it's genuinely not my fault it's Spotify's fault. I spent an insanely long amount of time editing this one (she's complex) just to have Spotify stop working when I went to upload which forced me to take a week long break in frustration. Happens to the best of us! Anyways, we're back with a follow up to the last episode! What is Futel really?? Who is behind the dream survey? How do you actually pronounce Willamette?     29. A Portland Mystery Part I

    Are we so back? Only time will tell, but let’s just say that if we were so back it would be at astronomical levels. This episode Marlena has fallen down a rabbit hole and she intends to drag us down with her. Here’s the sitch: someone in Portland has been hanging strange flyers advertising a mysterious dream survey for the past decade and Marlena intends to find out who (or what) is responsible. Also, if you hear some pops or crackles during this episode that is the sound of a fireplace burning in the background! I left it in because I thought it created a sort of cozy winter ambience but it could be a little startling if you aren't prepared!     28: Ufology

    GREY ALERT!!! Are we being f*****g invaded?? This week the girls are following up on their espionage episode with another possible angle: aliens. The girls talk about the history of UFO sightings and explore some possible explanations for why we see things in the sky. They explain some famous UFO sightings, including the infamous Roswell Incident and compare aliens of the past with aliens of the future.     27: Zoos

    CW: We do talk about animals being hurt and killed in this episode, so heads up if that's not something you want to listen to! This week (or rather a few weeks ago when we recorded this) the girls are talking about zoos! They talk about some of the ways zoos can be harmful, included some fun examples of animals escaping and some tragic examples. Then they talk about how zoos can be beneficial and what zoos should look like in the future. Finally, Marlena tells a fun story about why there are wild zebras on the coast of California (spoiler alert: it's because of a zoo).
