    “Why do you want to be my friend?” “Why do you want me to trust you?” They may sound like simple questions from an eight-year-old—but listen closely, and there is something much deeper behind them. On this special episode of The Marvelous World of Marabelis Cruz, 8-year-old host Marabelis Cruz, alongside her co-host and proud mommy Marleny, shares some of the questions she asks classmates when they want to become her friend. Some are playful. Some are curious. And some might make even the grown-ups stop and think. Because Marabelis doesn't simply want to know someone's favorite things. She wants to understand something about the person asking to enter her world. Why do you want to be my friend? Why should I trust you?
