Brought to you by Toys R' Us. Playoff Shit: Avalanche slowing(?),and the game 4 tell-all. Kraken Reaction: Driedger, free agency, and WWRD. #NoDumbQuestions: has any team down 2-0 won it all?!

The boys are back! Jeff and Joey return and explain where they've been before jumping into Playoff Shit. Jeff still likes the Tampa Bay Lightning to win the series and officially be listed as a dynasty and Joey is still holding out hope for the Avalanche but both believe game 4 will be the game that decides the series. In the Kraken Reaction, the two discuss Chris Driedger and how his injury has an impact on the Seattle Kraken's future, where they stand with goalies, draft capital, and how Ron Francis is going to find a way to get the job done. For No Dumb Questions, the boys answer if any teams in the history of the NHL have been down 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Final and have come back from behind to win it all. The Depths get a little weird when Jeff changes clothes mid-pod and the two reminisce on Toys R' Us. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

Go f**k a watermelon. Playoff Shit: Avalanche sweep and Rangers must win. Plus, Hakstol fired? NHL free agency rumors. #NoDumbQuestions: how did the conference finals superstition start?

Bye Bye, Edmonton! #PLAYOFFSHIT has the boys reeling after the Colorado Avalanche sweep the Edmonton Oilers on the way to the Stanley Cup Final. Cale Makar was electric throughout the series and accomplished a feat that only a few defensemen in the history of the NHL have been able to do. Joey is thrilled as he hated the Oilers the second they signed Evander Kane and hopes that they bring him back so they give him an excuse to root against them in the future. For the Eastern Conference Final, Jeff and Joey breakdown exactly what's going on as well as how game 4 is a must-win for the New York Rangers more so than the Tampa Bay Lightning. Joey continues to gush over Igor and Jeff brings up Kress from last week's episode and his take on him as well as stating that in the future they'll be bringing him back on the podcast. In Kraken news, the two discuss the hot topic of replacing Hakstol as well as what free agents have a chance of landing in Seattle and around the NHL. Last, a Twitter survey on the hotness levels of every team was revealed and the Kraken lost to the Vancouver Canucks which the two adamantly disagree with. No Dumb Questions has Joey asking where the superstition of not touching the conference final trophy originated and Jeff breaks down some of the history behind teams that did and those that did not and how they fared in the Stanley Cup Final. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

#PLAYOFFSHIT. Western / Eastern Conference Finals breakdown, Igor vs. Vasi, predictions, and the E60 documentary "Unrivaled". #NoDumbQuestions: what happened to Vladimir Konstantinov?

The people have spoken! "Playoff Shit" is the official name of the segment title covering everything in the NHL playoffs. Jeff and Joey breakdown both the Western and Eastern Conference Finals including what players to watch for, why Joey was not surprised by the outcome of the Colorado Avalanche vs Edmonton Oilers game 1, what the New York Rangers need to do in order to knock off the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Igor Sheshterkin vs Andrei Vasilevskiy. The two give their predictions before moving on to discuss "Unrivaled," the upcoming ESPN60 documentary that covers the rivalry between the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings. Jeff hasn't seen the trailer yet and attempts to watch it but has to stop 15 seconds in as he starts to tear up. The two make a surprise phone call to Jeff's lifelong buddy Mike who breaks down the playoffs and compares it to NHL players of the past and why he hates the Western Conference Finals. For No Dumb Questions, Joey asks what happened to Vladimir Konstantinov that brought out such a reaction from hockey Twitter when he appeared at the end of the trailer for the documentary. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

A horse named 'Lightning'. The Tampa Bay wagon, Nazem Kadri, and rivalries. Kraken Reaction: Giordano, Ron abroad, and the Seattle Thunderbirds. #NoDumbQuestions: why did the NYR release Tony DeAngelo?

Hey honey! Jeff and Joey are undecided on a segment name for their playoff coverage so they're leaving it up to members of the #KrakenPod. Jeff has earned bragging right after calling Tampa Bay a wagon as they dismantle the Florida Panthers in four games. The Avalanche and St. Louis Blues are discussed as well as Nazem Kadri's run-in with Jordan Binnington and the now infamous post-game water bottle throw during his interview on the NHL on TNT. Next, the boys discuss why New York Rangers versus Carolina is heating up and last but certainly not least, the Battle of Alberta, and Joey goes in on Evander Kane. Kraken Reaction is back this week with the news of Mark Giordano being signed to a two-year extension with the Leafs while Ron Francis is in Europe and signed an international player and Jeff shouts out the Seattle Thunderbirds as they continue their march through the playoffs. Jeff pulls a Swede Potato and has an incident in the kitchen involving a waffle iron and #NoDumbQuestions answers why the New York Rangers released Tony DeAngelo six games into a two-year, $9.6 million contract. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

Oil covered horses. Round 2 NHL playoff preview, Leafs fans still suck, Oettinger, Gru news from Germany, and Canada Fun Facts are back. Plus, #NoDumbQuestions: what is an EBUG?!

Oil covered horses. Oil covered horses, everywhere. The boys are back to quickly recap an EPIC round 1 of the 2022 NHL playoffs, but not before Joey surprises Jeff with a sixer of Labatt Blue to celebrate the Toronto Maple Leafs failing yet again since the store was fresh out of Toronto Tears. After the recap, the two break down all of the matchups in round 2 including what key piece every team will need in order to move on to their respecting Conference Final. Next, a member of the Kraken Pod sends in some pretty cool Philipp Grubauer news from Germany and with this episode being heavy goalie-oriented for #NoDumbQuestions Joey answers "what is an EBUG?" Canada Fun Facts has a special Alberta edition with the upcoming Battle of Alberta looming. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

The Shitshow. Round 1 NHL playoff recap, Leafs end the streak (?), Trouba trucks Sid, and the NHL Draft Lottery. #NoDumbQuestions: who do the Seattle Kraken take with the 4th overall pick?

Welcome to the shitshow! Jeff and Joey have been all over the map so the two take a second to catch up before hopping into recapping round 1 of the NHL playoffs. They cover their must watch round 1 matchup Tampa Bay versus Toronto, if the Leafs can break the dry spell, why New York and Florida are in trouble, underrated St. Louis, why Calgary versus Dallas is a snooze-fest, the Avalanche beating the brakes off of Nashville, and much more. Last, for #NoDumbQuestions Joey covers the prospects the Seattle Kraken are targeting and the two debate who they should take with the 4th overall pick and Joey vies for a position in the organization as a European scout before sharing why he'll be watching the IIHF World Championships. Ending, as always, with the Chirp of the Week.

Let's go Kraken!!!

Been following hockey for about 20 years, but it's like I've been a nomad all that time. At last we have a team of our own, and I've fallen in love with them. About 20 episodes behind on the pod, but I'll try to catch up quickly! 🦑
