Everybody Ain’t Okay… And We Need to Talk About It | Wake & Bake Show

💨 The smoke was in the air…but this conversation got HEAVY. On this episode of The Wake & Bake Show, Q. Lewis, Monk Money and Angry Man get together for another session LIVE FROM THE 48205—but this time, the conversation hits a little different. We’re living in a time where senseless violence can erupt over almost nothing, people are walking around carrying pain nobody knows about, and sometimes the relationships we keep fighting to save are the very ones destroying our peace. So we talked about it. 🔥 Why does it feel like people are quicker to turn to violence? 🧠 How many people around us are really not okay mentally? ✂️ When is it finally time to let a toxic relationship GO? ❤️ Can loving somebody sometimes mean accepting that you can't keep them in your life? 🌿 And yes…we discussed all of this while getting properly Wake & Baked. 😂💨 There are still jokes. There are still moments where the conversation goes completely off the rails—because this IS the Wake & Bake Show. But underneath the smoke and laughter is a serious conversation about anger, trauma, relationships, accountability, protecting your peace and recognizing when somebody—including yourself—might need help. Sometimes the funniest people in the room are carrying the heaviest stuff. Sometimes walking away is stronger than fighting back. And sometimes you gotta sit around with your people, light one up and actually TALK. 👇🏾 QUESTION OF THE WEEK: What's something—or somebody—you had to let go of to protect your peace? Drop it in the comments. Somebody reading your answer might need to hear it. 🎙️ The Wake & Bake Show 📍 LIVE FROM THE 48205 🎧 E-Block Radio Podcast Network Like. Comment. Subscribe. Share. 🚨 Spirit Airlines SHUT DOWN?! The End of Budget Travel + Our Worst Travel Horror Stories 😳✈️

The skies just got a little quieter… and a LOT more expensive. In a shocking turn of events, Spirit Airlines has officially shut down operations after more than 30 years in the air. All flights canceled. Thousands stranded. Millions wondering what just happened. On today’s episode of The Wake & Bake Show, we break down the sudden collapse of one of America’s most controversial airlines—and trust us, this story is deeper than just cheap flights and carry-on fees. 💥 Here’s what we’re unpacking: Spirit Airlines ceased operations on May 2, 2026, ending a 34-year run The airline collapsed after failing to secure a $500 million bailout and multiple failed merger attempts Rising fuel costs tied to global conflict (yeah… THAT situation) helped push them over the edge All flights canceled immediately, leaving passengers stranded and customer service shut down Over 17,000 employees impacted as the airline enters a full wind-down From being the king of “$39 flights (plus $200 in fees)” to completely grounded… Spirit’s story is wild. But that’s not all… 🎙️ We also take it PERSONAL: Our worst travel experiences ever (missed flights, ghetto layovers, airline horror stories 😅) Times we said “never flying THAT airline again” The real question: Was Spirit actually THAT bad… or just misunderstood? 👀 Plus we talk about what this means for YOU: Will flights get more expensive now? Who’s stepping in to replace budget travel? And is this the end of the “cheap flight era”? Tap in, roll something up, and buckle your seatbelt… Because today’s episode is turbulence, truth, and straight-up travel trauma. 🔥 SUBSCRIBE to The Wake & Bake Show for real talk, wild stories, and unfiltered conversations 💬 Drop your WORST travel experience in the comments 👍 Like & Share if you ever flew Spirit and lived to tell the story #WakeAndBakeShow #SpiritAirlines #TravelNews #FlightDrama #BudgetAirlines #PodcastLife #TravelStories #EBlockRadio See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
