Good morning, Texts & Situationships (Domingo, Q.Blades , Mike Lowery)

In this episode, we’re talking about that confusing space between vibing and dating. You know… when y’all are talking, spending time, catching feelings—but nobody’s actually said what it is. The crew breaks it down with real stories, laughs, and a few side tangents about movie classics like The Temptations, Ray, and The Color Purple (because why not?). We get into what “vibing” really means, why people avoid labels, and how things can get messy when the lines aren’t clear. If you’ve ever found yourself in a “situationship” or wondering, “Are we something or nah?”—this one’s for you. Expect a mix of real talk, jokes, and those moments that make you say, “Yep, been there.”

Hard work (Domingo , Jameson , Dessire )

Weldon Giovanni sits down with a guest who pulls up with real questions, jokes, and some unexpected honesty. What starts off light turns into a full convo about modern dating, where “talking” can mean ten different things and the vibes don’t always match the effort. They get into: The blurred lines between just vibing and actually tryingHow energy gets confused for consistencyThose almost-relationships that still sit heavyWhat it means to like the idea of somebody more than the actual personAnd why sometimes disappearing is the only way to protect your peaceIt’s real, it’s funny, and it’s gonna hit home for anybody who's ever been in that weird space between “something” and “nothing

6 seasons and a movie ( Feat. Domingo , Vee )

Reunited after a two-year hiatus, our cherished guest V graces us with her presence once again, bringing a fresh wave of energy to kick off the sixth season of "Please Respect the Roses." This season promises to be a journey filled with laughter, authenticity, and reflection as we share our struggles, including the impact of depression on our lives and the podcast. With candid conversations and a dose of humor, we revisit unforgettable highlights from season five, like the Barney Bag and Spelling Bee episodes, and welcome V's unique take on the topics she missed while away. With a passion for music at the forefront, we jump headfirst into the world of rap battles and recent album releases. Our discussion dances from the intensity and skill showcased in specific rap tracks like "Euphoria," to the ambitious length of SZA's deluxe project—a decision reminiscent of artists like Chris Brown. As we share our musings on the challenges of long albums, preferences for artists like Kendrick Lamar, and the dynamics of album release timing, the conversation flows effortlessly, providing insights into the complex landscape of today's hip-hop and R&B scene. From here, we touch on the impact of social media on mental health, the little frustrations of daily life, and the joys of childhood nostalgia. Our lively exchange covers everything from wellness checks and gym routines to the often cringe-worthy charm of 90s movies. We laugh about mandatory work videos, reminisce about classic Disney movies, and debate the merits of hip-hop biopics, all while striving to remain genuine in our creative pursuits. Join us for an episode that's as much about personal growth and community as it is about entertainment and pop culture.
