    Episode 4 - Fieldwork and Clinic and Clients... OH MY!

    Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween weekend! This week we chat about the hands-on experiences we've had this past year working with real (or not real) clients in our program. Fall semester has been a big learning curve for all of us as we navigate our on-campus clinic assignments and our own clients for the first time!     Episode 3 - Occupational Balance: Finding Meaning in Our Daily Lives

    Midterm season is upon us and we are definitely feeling the effects of being 2nd-year graduate students. In this episode, we talk about what occupational balance is and how we are working towards becoming occupational therapists yet struggle with managing our own occupations day-to-day. We explore what affects occupational balance and the different ways we cope or work towards it.  Spoiler alert: Mr. Pat makes a little appearance demonstrating the balancing act our super mom pod-sister, Tiffany, has to manage each day :)

    Episode 2 - Our Journeys to OT School - "Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself"

    In this week's episode, we reflect more on our own personal journeys that brought us to OT school. What we did in the gap between undergrad and grad school, how we prepared or didn't, all our odd jobs, zigs, and zags; how it all connects to OT! We also find out more about each other, like only now realizing how old each of us actually is and other hidden secrets 👀 Part 2's topic will be on the application process and how we decided on attending our current program and starting grad school in a panini!

    Episode 1 - “What is OT? Why and how did we choose OT?”

    Five 2nd-year OT entry-level Master's program students share out! Our names are Melissa, Tiffany, Katarina, Masha and Elaine.  In our first episode, we tell you how we discovered OT and what the profession means to us. Somehow, we all happily stumbled into it - Masha from personal training (+ Art History, go figure), Melissa from volunteering with children at a private clinic in Oregon, Tiffany teaching high school social science, Katarina a pre-med major and Elaine, a disability studies minor in college!
