Then a thought occurred to me, we keep hearing terms like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Big Data, Data Mining: I'm not sure if we can get by a day without hearing these terms. But… what do they mean? Why are they important? What's their potential? How do you prepare for a career in these fields? Do they all have a common skill set that can be applied across these fields?
