    Dr. Edward Reece is the chair of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He trained in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Texas San Antonio. While in private practice in Phoenix, he received an MBA from Arizona State University and then went on to serve as the division chief of adult plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He returned to Arizona to become chair of plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale in 2022. Dr. Reece has a broad, mostly reconstructive, practice in sarcoma reconstruction, breast reconstruction and hand surgery, and is a pioneer of spinoplastic reconstruction, where he works with spine surgeons to improve outcomes of spinal fusions.

    Dr. Bill Kuzon holds the esteemed position of Reed O. Dingman Professor of Surgery within the Section of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Notably, he served as the Section Head for Plastic Surgery from 2001 to 2012 and spearheaded the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Michigan from 2001 to 2009.
     
    His research interests center around skeletal muscle and peripheral nerve physiology in the context of reconstructive surgery, a field in which he has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers across a broad range of topics. Dr. Kuzon is a sought-after speaker, having delivered keynote lectures at numerous universities and scientific gatherings.
     
    Actively engaged in his professional community, Dr. Kuzon holds memberships in several national specialty societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (currently serving on the Board of Directors), the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation (currently serving as the president-elect), The American Association of Plastic Surgeons (currently serving as vice-president), The Plastic Surgery Research Council (currently serving as Historian), the American Society for the Peripheral Nerve (having served as past president), the Michigan Association of Plastic Surgeons (having served as past president), and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery. Additionally, he serves as a Director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

He studied medicine at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, trained in general surgery at Yale University, and then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at University of California San Diego. After spending some time as an assistant professor at UCSD and at Faces Plus with Dr. Steve Cohen in San Diego, he moved to Barcelona where he founded the IMAGN institute. He is a pioneer of the high definition liposculpture technique and has written several manuscripts and book chapters about it. He trains residents from all over Europe at his practice in Barcelona.

    An academic powerhouse with more than 120 papers to her name, she specializes in microsurgery and aesthetics. She is known to be a mentor to those around her.
    At her clinic, she specializes in performs breast reconstruction with prosthesis in a single step, i.e. with the immediate use of a definitive prosthesis without having to resort to a second operation to change the prosthesis, or with the tissues of the abdomen. In this case it involves using one's own tissues without the use of prostheses such as an autotransplant.

    Dr. Kongkrit Chaiyasate is an Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan. He graduated from medical school in Thailand, and then general surgery residency in Providence Hospital and Medical Center, and plastic surgery residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. He then completed two fellowships - craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at Washington University in St Louis, followed by microsurgery at the Ohio State University. He then joined the faculty at Beaumont Health where he has been pushing the boundaries of reconstructive surgery ever since. He instituted the integrated craniomaxillofacial and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship there in 2017, and serves as the Program Director. He has won multiple awards at the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery including two Best Case awards and three Best Save awards. His practice is broad and head to toe, focus on reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck, breast, and extremity, as well as pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery.

    Shai M. Rozen, MD, is Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He specializes in facial paralysis (facial reanimation) surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and microsurgery.
     
    A graduate of Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, Dr. Rozen later completed separate residencies in first general surgery and then plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He then received advanced training in craniofacial surgery, followed by extensive training in peripheral nerve surgery through a fellowship at Johns Hopkins.
     
    At UT Southwestern, he has co-created with colleagues from neurotology and neurosurgery a specialty group treating patients with facial paralysis. Dr. Rozen specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, concentrating on face lift surgery, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), and eyelid surgery.
     
    Dr. Rozen has published over 100 manuscripts and book chapters relating to plastic surgery and facial reanimation surgery. He has more than 150 scientific abstracts presented in national and international meetings. He has provided more than 300 invited talks on various aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery and speaks both nationally and internationally in major scientific meetings, international courses, and at leading academic centers in the country and around the world.
