For the last 4 decades of my life, I have been a total shut-in. I was so afraid to experience my life that I sat at home watching my friends on social media live out their dreams. Their happiness became my rage and I lobbed criticisms at them from the safety of my PewDiePie gaming chair. Every trip they posted, every meal they shared, every loved one they appreciated felt like another attack on my sheltered lifestyle, until I listened to Will on the Weekends.
This podcast made me realize that life wasn’t about being a highly rated Wikipedia article editor or a Reddit moderator for r/comedypodcasts with over 100,000 karma [still helps with the ladies though ;)]. Will taught me that I should seize the day and take the reigns on my life. Since listening I have purchased tickets to bungee jump in Botswana. I have been informed that there is a weight limit of 400lbs for a bungee jump and that, with my severe asthma, there are diseases in Botswana that would kill me before I stepped off the plane, but I’m not going to let anything stop me.
Thank you Will, thank you for saving my life
