    A God that delights in forgiveness

    We as humans, don't easily forgive and forget making it really easy that our creator has those same characteristics. WELL, I'm here to tell you that our God, El-Shaddai (God Almighty), Yahweh (I am),  Emmanuel (God is with us), whatever you may call him, our God is not like that. Though it may be hard to understand as our pettiness comes in the way :(, God actually loves and rejoices in forgiving me. In forgiving you. So long as we come to Him, and wholeheartedly repent, He is MORE than willing to forgive you.

    In this episode of Jesus, Prince of Peace, Risa, your host, talks about how God will always be with us, and how our circumstances will only encourage God to work in our lives because at the end of the day, it's for this glory, so why would he need our little might for his glory? He doesn't! Once the God of Moses, Jeremiah, and Gideon, says He will be with you, trust, He will be with you because He will. Isaiah 43:4-5 ESV "Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."

    Well, what if I fall?

    The road looks rough from here.. I haven't been where you want to go yet so I can't tell you the road gets smoother along the way but I can tell you this from I've seen, heard and experienced, the God your following, your ancestors also followed, that is Jesus and he has never failed. Not once! So since we can't rely on ourselves, (rightfully so) give it all to Him. He who is mighty, knows what you've been through and He is mighty as he is compassionate as he is a loving father. Psalm 40:7-8 NLT 7 Then I said, “Look, I have come. As is written about me in the Scriptures: 8 I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.” Psalm 37:23  The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

    Finding God leads to finding yourself

    It's okay to admit that we don't have it altogether. God does though, that's x1000 more than enough!

    In times you feel like nothing is going right, it's not as easy as it seemed to be, something got in the road and you were unprepared for such scenarios, remember that God has it altogether, including your purpose. If we would just put both of out feet in, allowing him to look through our darkest times so he COULD shine his light.  Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.3Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.- Isaiah 60:1-3 NIV The light shine in the darkness, and the light had not overcome it.- John 1:5 NIV Let him be your light in the darkness

    Intro to our dearest friend, Jesus!

    Hey, you! Yes, you! I would like to talk  to you a little about my dearest friend. One that you'd definitely find a good friend in! You might  know him actually... his name is Jesus. If you don't, well that's okay! He already knows you though, knew you long before we were friends too and knew me too. Here, grab a cup of tea and let me tell you all about the person who knew and loved you waaayyy before anyone else did. He truly is amazing, I think He is the one. for you and me. I know He is. He is ours, and we are His.

    Greenhouse

    Who would we be if God kept a record of our sins? Of the may times we ran out of the greenhouse looking for an unknown place to call home? Leaving our provider, who provided and still provides for us more love than any  other source in this world could ever provide? Who cares so much, more than the things we admire could ever care for us? Who gave us so much, more than the things we love could ever give us? Because He is indeed the life, the way, and the truth. He is indeed love. He is indeed home. The greenhouse is where our heart is, so may our hearts be with the almighty and stay  with the almighty. Psalm 130: 1-4

    Love my neighbor as myself, but how?

    We often hear about the ten commandments, but have you ever thought to yourself... "well which is the greatest one out of the ten?" Jesus actually gives us an answer to that question and he says in Mark 12: 28-34 NIV "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."  31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.” 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.  33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” In Jesus, Prince of Peace, we explore that a little bit. Audio cut a lil early but what I meant to say is, may the Lord Jesus Christ be with you and dwell with you.
