The Old You Vs The New You Podcast

Goddess Asha Mariama

Welcome to From The Old You To The New You Podcast. This is a recovery life coaching podcast that is all about helping people that are living in the past to let go of the past, learn and recover from their past mistakes, healing, and move forward to the present, and the future. This podcast is all about letting go of the past you in order to become the new version of you. A lot of people like to use the prefix RE with a word which means doing things repeatedly, or over and over again until you get it right. Whereas the word new means doing something either in a different way, or in a way that you’ve never done before. So you have to decide whether you want to re- something, or newly something when it comes to the things that you are choosing to do, or embark on. a lot of people choose to remain in the past, doing things the same way that they’ve been doing it for years, not trying to change as far as growing, evolving, elevating, or maturing. And then there are other people who every day are doing things in a new way, learning from their mistakes, growing, evolving, elevating, and maturing into a new and better version of themselves. So this is all about asking the viewers out there, whether you want to continue living, thinking, and remaining in the past version of yourself, or do you want to do things in a new, better, and different type of way than what you are use or accustomed to. And I understand doing something new can be very scary because of the not knowing what’s going to happen, how it’s gonna turn out, how it’s going to impact, and affect you, is it going to be better than the things that you’ve been doing, what’s going to be different doing what I’ve been doing, and why should I do something different, what I’m doing now works for me, and I’m happy with who I am now. so these are just some of the questions that I will be covering in this particular podcast. And if you were emailing me your stories that you would like for me to talk about, or any questions that you have that you want answers to when it comes to things that you are experiencing, please email me at Asha.Mariama01@gmail.com. you can also email me there when it comes to wanting one on one coaching as well. S-2- Episode 3- My pre-conversation with Stephen Edwards about the Venus Fly Trap: Sex, Lies, and Repercussions.

In this episode, I contunied part 2 of the conversation with Stephen Edwards about the Venus Fly Trap: Sex, Lies, and Repercussions.book that he wrote. We talked about how we end up in the Venus fly trap in the first place when it comes to negative situations. We also talked about the pitfalls that we will face that will keep you stagnet, in fear, doubt, and keep you still and from reaching your goals. We talk about the lies and misconceptions when comes to sex, love, and relatiohsips. The misconceptions when come to how people look at sex and relationships. We talked about pain and how we run fun what we are afraid of, suffering and trauma in stead of facing it. We talked about the book when it comes to the characters of the book as far how they respresents him and the women that he dated and the toxic relationship that they had. How she represented the venus fly trap that is her favorite flower? How the flowers that you like can represent the spiritual verson of yourself? The difference between the person that you though that they were and the person that they truly are. We spoke the way men think vs the way women thnk and are raised. Why do we lower ourselves in order to build other people up even it destroys them? Why do we stay in relationship that we are not meant to be on, or are abusive, and toxic? Why it is importance to trust our gut instincts, intuition, and spiritual feelings when it comes to when comes to who you bring in your life, and how they will impact and affect your life negatively? We also spoke on relationships, emotional growth, self-awareness, accountability, and personal transformation, we would genuinely appreciate an introduction or referral. We’re especially looking to connect with hosts who enjoy honest and reflective discussions with depth and authenticity. If you want to reach him, you can reach him at VFT23Publishing LLC, and vft23.com. Episode 49 - How Being Alone Will Lead To The Person That You Want To Be.

In this episode, I discussed how being alone will lead to the best version of yourself. You’re able to find who you are based on what you want and need and not based on what everybody else thinks that you should do and be. How I am dealing with the loss of my father, which is leading me to this new and better version of myself through grief? The one thing that I am learning through the loss of my dad is the things that I would like to do differently. This experience of me getting sick in 2017 to now has led me to this new and better version of me where I’m not sitting around and waiting for people to do things for me, going on trips with me, hanging out with me, or being relationships with me romantically. I’m not sitting around waiting for my family to accept me or what it is that I do. I am just enjoying this new version of me for traveling, building a new business in a brand, doing my podcast, getting ready to start making jewelry, candles, and body butters. Me writing two books about healing and recovery, motivational, speaking, and doing these podcast. So I hope this journey of mine as far as healing and recovery not just some grief, but also through my self-esteem, self-worth, self value, self respect, self confidence, and believing in myself, is leading me to this version of myself that I’m really loving. I’m enjoying this journey of being alone and walking in this path, purpose, and journey to this new and better version of myself that I’m happy with. And it’s important that I’m happy with this new version of me. The people that will accept the new version of you will accept it, and the people that don’t they won’t. I decided to share this journey that I’m going through with you guys on my podcast. And I really hoping it inspires you to go on your path, purpose, and journey alone to figure out who you are, and what you want to be. And who the new version of you is going to look like.
