Journalist Kari Baxter Donovan Kari is an ex-Community Organizer who writes about Cultural Marxism, grassroots activism, music, IndyCar racing and political campaigns. She is a registered Independent voter. Kari has homeschooled 3 children, and she lives in North Carolina. She likes to cover Conservative activism and has been active recently with the parent's rights movement at the school board level in Wake Co.She likes photography and photojournalism and has been around politics in one way or another, she says, for most of her life, having been daughter by her grandmother about Nixon's Watergate trial. Kari worked with Community Organizer Jessie Jackson under US Congressman Howard Wolpe, who was a Democrat, but we won't hold that against her.     Meet Allen Waters for Congress in RI D1. Allen Waters states " I offer you bold leadership and commonsense solutions that appeals to mainstream American values. I believe we must grow the American economy, preserve our American culture, and, above all, we must protect the American people. I support the principles of free enterprise, individual freedom, limited government, and a strong national defense. We all have a God given right to self-defense as supported by the 2nd Amendment. I support School Choice to help more Rhode Island families find publicly funded education for their children not limited by zip code, and to help protect the taxpayers who should get a better return on educational investment. Like many Americans, I am very concerned about the growing influence of the radical left and their ceaseless march to socialism or even worse. Did you know the ratio of liberal to conservative college professors today is 12:1? Too many parents are sending their children off to be educated, but instead, they are being indoctrinated, and afraid of one of our most precious rights: freedom of speech. I believe federal grants to higher education should be tied to the protection of the First Amendment on campus. I support getting government out of student lending to let the free market work between diploma buyers and diploma sellers to bring down costs because Direct Student Loans and other subsidized programs are inflationary. In America, we are all paying a high price for college safe spaces that protect students from words and ideas, when being able to civilly listen and debate opposing points of view are priceless to advance our society. She considers Boston the place where liberty was born and has sworn to not let it die here. Patriots long and near have died defending this flag so we can be free. As a proud African American woman and a Republican, Rayla believes passionately in Civil Rights and opposes the radical calls for “identity politics” which seeks to divide Americans against one another. Rayla believes in fairness and integrity. She believes in reaching across party lines to work for the common good for the people of Massachusetts regardless of their political affiliation. She considers her duties as a Secretary of State to provide updated and accurate state government information. Having an accessible office for the public. Working to grow and strengthen the economy by cutting red tape and streamlining services. Bringing honor to the office by following the state constitution and protecting the constitutional rights of consumers and last but not least running fair and clean elections.
