The Art Of DeCULTstruction

Ava Gray

This is the story of those who survived. We were raised in an environment where power was misused, abuse was hidden, and fear kept many silent. As survivors of Grace Valley Christian Center, we are coming together to support one another, speak our truth, and seek accountability. Our mission is to help end cycles of trauma, protect children, and ensure that future generations are not subjected to the same harm.

  1. Episode 1

    RUN

In this episode, I sit down with a guest who escaped GVCC approximately 40 years ago. He and his wife made the decision to leave, but the impact of that experience has followed them for decades. During our conversation, he shares what life was like inside the organization, the challenges of breaking free, and the lasting emotional, psychological, and relational effects of surviving a high-control environment.  Whether you are familiar with GVCC or interested in understanding the lasting impact of high-control groups, this conversation offers a firsthand perspective on survival, courage, and hope.
