Committed Gathering // Why Am I Lacking Depth? | Wil Richardson

Are we truly growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus, or are we allowing things in our lives to hold us back? In this week’s Committed message, Wil and Bob explore six reasons we may be lacking spiritual depth: our words, isolation, unforgiveness, unrepentance, pride, and a misunderstanding of who God really is. Looking at the example of Jesus, we’re reminded that spiritual growth begins with spending time with the Father, walking in humility, extending forgiveness, and living in community. Jesus is our blueprint for discipleship. No matter where you are in your walk with Christ, His love remains the same, and His invitation to grow deeper is always open!

Guy’s Night // Hope Of Eternal Life - Titus Chapter 3 “Humility Wins” | Pastor Joby Martin

This week at Guy's Night, we finished our time in Titus with Pastor Joby Martin's message, Humility Wins," from Titus 3. We talked about how the Gospel should produce humility in the way we treat people, remembering who we were before Jesus and recognizing that we are saved because of God's mercy and grace-not because of our own righteousness. Titus 3 challenges believers to live differently: to be ready for good works, avoid pointless arguments and division, show gentleness toward others, and let the grace we have received shape the way we live. Humility wins because grace reminds us that everything we have in Christ is a gift.

Guy’s Night // Hope Of Eternal Life - Titus Chapter 2 “Standout Christians” | Pastor Joby Martin

This week at Guy’s Night, we continued through Titus with a message from Pastor Joby Martin on Titus 2. We talked about how right belief should lead to right behavior. We are not saved by good works, but we are saved for good works—and the grace of Jesus is what produces real transformation in us. Titus 2 gives practical instruction for older men, older women, younger women, and younger men, showing that every generation has a role in encouraging, discipling, and modeling what faithful Christian living looks like. The night challenged us to reject legalism, laziness, and compromise, and instead live with integrity, self-control, responsibility, and hope—always remembering that our behavior only has meaning when it flows from a genuine relationship with Jesus.

Guy’s Night // Hope Of Eternal Life - Titus Chapter 1 | Pastor Ryan Britt & Todd Hickcox

This week at Guy’s Night, we watched a sermon from Titus 1 and talked about the importance of the local church, our need for the Gospel, and the mission Jesus has given His people. We discussed how the church is meant to be a place where believers grow, the Gospel is proclaimed, and people are sent out on mission. We also looked at the difference between simple optimism and the hope of eternal life—a confident hope rooted in a God who never lies. The night challenged us to take the Gospel seriously, support the mission of the Church, and continue putting our faith fully in Jesus.

Committed Gathering // Don’t Miss This | Brandon Harper

What if our fear of missing out is actually causing us to miss what matters most? In this message, Brandon Harper challenges us to stop being so distracted by everything happening around us that we miss what God is doing right in front of us. Using 1 Timothy 4:12-15, Brandon calls us to watch who we're becoming-our speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity-and to refuse to waste the Word, gifts, calling, and season God has given us. The question is simple: What is God doing that I don't want to miss? Through four prayers-Recognition, Repentance, Restoration, and Reconciliation-this message is an invitation to let God reveal what needs to change, make us whole again, and help us live faithfully with what He has placed in our hands. Don't get so focused on what's next that you miss what God is doing now. Don't miss it.

Guy’s Night // The Practice Of The Presence Of God (Book Study) - Week 2 “Letters”

This week at Guy's Night, we planned to continue The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence with his letters-but the conversation went in a completely difterent direction. Instead, we spent the night talking through church history, Catholicism, what it looks like to evangelize people well, and how Christians should think through difficult questions surrounding Israel. It was an honest night of questions, different perspectives, Scripture, and learning how to have meaningful conversations without being afraid of disagreement. Sometimes the best discussions are the ones you never planned for.

Guy’s Night // The Practice Of The Presence Of God (Book Study) - Week 1 “Conversations”

This week at Guy’s Night, we began The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence by reading and discussing the book’s four conversations. We talked about Brother Lawrence’s simple but powerful pursuit of living continually aware of God’s presence—not just during prayer, worship, or church, but in the ordinary moments of everyday life. The challenge is simple: What would change if we learned to live every moment with God instead of only looking for Him in certain moments?

Guy’s Night // Church History Class - Week 4: “Reformation & Branches” | Pastor Jamie Wright

In the final week of our Family Tree Church History Class, Pastor Jamie Wright walked us through the Protestant Reformation and the many branches of Christianity that followed. We discussed Martin Luther, the 95 Theses, Sola Scriptura, justification, and the major questions that fueled the Reformation: What is our ultimate authority? How are we justified? Who has access to God? And should ordinary people have access to Scripture? We also traced the family tree from the early Church to Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Reformed, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and non-denominational traditions. Different histories. Different traditions. Different branches. One story centered on Jesus Christ.
