    Jim Meskimen is an actor/impressionist who has been seen in five feature films by director Ron Howard, and on TV in Friends, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Margo's Got Money Troubles, The Big Door Prize, Parks & Recreation, and NCIS, among many others.  His impressions were featured on The View, Fox & Friends, The Tonight Show and America’s Got Talent, to name a few. He currently appears in LANDMAN on Paramount+ and Chicago Fire.     Dale Arenson is an award-winning, bestselling author of 5 gripping memoirs inspired by his risky and unconventional life. A high-school dropout in sunny Southern California, he found the supportive family he always craved as a member of the famous Hangmen Motorcycle Club.  After many run-ins with the law and brushes with death and animated by the desire to better himself, Arenson decided to give up his dangerous lifestyle. With extraordinary grit and determination, he reinvented himself as a commercial airline pilot and had a successful career in aviation for 35 years.   Always up for a good challenge, later on he became a World Champion and Record-Breaking Rifle Shooter.     “Graffiti Bleu” is an artist with an enormous passion for language. His love of language is so strong, he has sought out mastery of words in several different modalities. As an author, as a rapper/poet and now as a screenwriter.  As a musician he has written and performed 5 studio Hip-Hop albums. Culminating in his magnum opus body of work “Champagne Ethos” released in June of 2023. As a spoken word performer he has hosted poetry events, competed in poetry slams and performed domestically and abroad for decades. Both of these gentleman are prolific and talented writers and historians, and the discussion we shared regarding their new book and their process of coming together as father and son to create it is something you don't want to miss! What an interesting, fun and inspiring chat!-----Side note/correction: During the discussion Martin incorrectly stated, that the speech the president made on the loudspeakers during the ball game was not to say baseball would continue. It was to announce a state of national emergency as the world war raged and spread. -That perfectly encapsulated the combination of dread the nation felt and the relief that baseball offered. -----Martin W. James brings a wealth of talent and creative energy to everything he becomes involved in.  James recent book The Gambler's Game is a book about his American grandfather, Bill Darnborough,who was born in Illinois in 1869 and was a mid-western baseball player turned professional roulette player and is the only American in history to break the bank at Monte Carlo.
