    Chad ran this episode solo and he reads a few pages from his first short story about picking his son up from school and taking him on his first hunting trip. The narration includes sound effects to create a sense of "being" there with the two hunters as they go on their small adventure. Join along for the short read-through.

    The outdoors can bring a variety of feelings from nostalgia to overburdened if you have chores to do, but did you know in Scotland physicians are actually prescribing time outdoors for the overall benefits it brings? We talk about what it feels like to get to our land and breathe in that first deep breath of country air, and describe how the chores outdoors is different than in suburbia.

    S1 E1: Introduction to our channel - our background and description of our land

    We want to talk to you about our backgrounds with the outdoors, and share with you our newest adventure in purchasing some land in the Midwest that's virtually untouched by humans. We want to share our history with the outdoors and how having our own "piece of land" is different than growing up on land where we felt hindered in having free reign to do trapping and experiencing the outdoors as a life style.
