    Christmas at the Cathedral is a timeless tradition in the Sioux Empire. The 29th Annual performance is set to take the stage at St. Joseph's Cathedral on December 18th until the 21st. This year's show is called "The Path of Peace." Director of Christmas at the Cathedral Mark Conzemius and Director of Special Events Jan Feterl joins the program to talk about the planning process, the history and wonder of the Cathedral, and the actors Sioux Falls can expect to see on stage.     This Is The Way Foundation: In Honor of Spencer Thorsland

    For over three years, Lori Huml's son Spencer Thorsland was battling cancer. During the annual Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon, we have been fortunate to meet Spencer and hear his cancer journey. Despite his cancer diagnosis, his spirit was never broken. Spencer did earn his angel wings on January 8th of 2024 when he was 13-years-old. Even though his time on earth was short, Spencer made a huge impact on the Sioux Empire. Thanks to his family and their community, Spencer’s force is strong with the new “This Is The Way Foundation.” Part of this organization is a special scholarship for future medical professionals in honor of Spencer’s dream to become a surgeon.
